Small jobs welcome

"Our experience with 20/20 Window Cleaning was the best!!  I've tried to find window washers in the past but haven't had much luch in finding one that pays attention to the details.  Jim & Alfredo did an excellent job inside and outside at our new home.  They are professional, thorough and provide great attention to detail.  They both are very pleasant to be around and even took their shoes off when entering our home. Our screens were washed and Jim even educated us on the importance of removing and storing unused exterior screens during the winter months.  We were very pleased and plan to use 20/20 Window Cleaning on a regular basis going forward.  Thank you, Jim & Alfredo!!

Deck Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Yes, snow should be removed from a deck to protect it from damage caused by moisture and heavy loads. Shovel the snow off of your deck regularly once it is more than four inches deep. Avoid using salt, which can damage your deck.

Coping is the material that lines the perimeter of a pool and seals the transition between the top of the pool wall and the water. Decking surrounds the poolscape and extends far beyond the water's edge to provide a safe walking and lounging area. In short, coping is the border between the decking and the pool itself.

In most cases, sanding an old deck before staining it is necessary to achieve a decent finish. If your old deck has a relatively new stain finish on it and you're only doing touch-ups, you can generally skip the sanding part. However, if your goal is to make the deck look and function better, sanding first is a must.

PVC decking tends to be cooler than composite because the material is less dense and absorbs less heat. However, it depends on the deck’s color. A dark-colored PVC deck may run hotter than a light-colored composite deck. If you’re concerned about your deck getting too hot, it’s best to stick to a light color such as beige or gray.

There are approximately 5.33 board feet in a 2x4. You can use the board foot calculator in this article to easily find the answer. A 2x4 is 2 inches of thickness by 4 inches of width, so you need to find the length, with 8 feet being the most common. You’d use the calculator here to multiply 2 times 4 times 8, and then divide by 12, arriving at a total of 5.33 board feet.
