"Had an emergency water pipe leak with water running into the basement where Groundworks had already installed a sump pump and drainage system. The pump clogged up with mud and wouldn’t work. Josh Moreno responded and worked so hard getting the system apart and cleaned out. Unfortunately he couldn’t finish until we got someone out to dig up the front yard and replace main water line. Josh was here first thing Monday morning and finished cleaning the system out, tested everything, and got everything working again. We are so thankful he responded to our home and took care of it. Thanks Josh!"
"FEMA required that our commercial property grade be raised out of the new floodplain. I pulled together bids from numerous companies and got their opinion on how they would go about the project because of it being in a hard to reach area. Of all the bids, Buds was the most affordable, and his approach to handling the project was very straight forward and made the most sense. He got started right away and stayed on the project every day until it was complete, which didn't take long. He stuck to his quote and there were no surprises. The site has been surveyed and the work looks good down to every detail. Bud and his company BMG Services will always be my go-to service provider for any future projects."
"Jim came sooner then expected. Look at the fithy drain and gave a reasonable estimate. Stating if he didn't have it finished in about an hour then he would have to come back and do more extensive work. My drain was clogged with debris from recent construction and pack in the very well. Jim started and was done before I had time to question it. He made sure the drain was working and the were no debris holing anything up.He clean my mess and his mess, very tidy. Jim came in was very professional and polite. He talk in a manner that I understood and not professional jargon. Very tidy in appearce and work. "
"They didn't actually provide any services, but Larry called me back that evening and spent 20 minutes on the phone with me going over the steps I needed to take to mitigate the water and potential mold damage in my basement including water removal, how the dehumidifier works, how to place fans in the basement and how air movement works and even how to put bleach water on the floor to allow it to vaporized into the air to prevent molding. I'm in the customer service industry and without even charging me, all of that information was worth all the money in the world to me. Thanks Larry!!!! "

"Jeremiah originally called to tell me he was out of town on another job and that he was going to be unable to get to me until between 12 and 2pm. Not to long after that he called and told me that he had a cancellation and could be here at 1015 if that would work for me. He showed up at about 1010 ready to go. I showed him to the floor drain, and he spent a bit of time trying to save the drain cover, but when he was ultimately unable to do so he asked if he could break it to get it off. When I told him that would be fine he carefully broke the minimum amount needed to get access to the drain itself, and was done very shortly after that. The majority of the time he spent was in trying to not damage the drain pipe. He only chose to do so after he felt he had exhausted all other options, and gotten confirmation from me that I would be okay with it. Overall I would recommend Evans Rooter Service. The two dings I placed above are in Price and Professionalism. I will gladly admit that I expected to pay significantly more before he showed up, but once he explained the problem and the fact that about half the tools he used were mine (I offered because I felt it would be faster than him going out to his truck and searching), I feel that $60 is a little steep for half an hour worth of labor (though I have not used a plumber in the area before, so I can freely admit that I could be way off base). The ding to Professionalism was simply because after coming in and seeing the issue he came back into the house without the needed tools and had to return to the truck several times in addition to borrowing tools (again, I volunteered those)."
"They came on time. Installed a new toilet in and cleaned up in about an hour. The price was best we were quoted. And a bonus is they offered military discount. Best experience overall."
Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts
You should hire a sewer service professional to unclog a main sewer line with tree roots. Tree roots can grow into the main sewer line, and this problem requires a specialized hydro jet, or rooter, that is powerful enough to clear the roots. The tree can also damage the main sewer line, and a professional will need to make repairs or replace the damaged sections. Sewer line replacement costs about $60 to $250 per linear foot.
No. You should never pour old paint down a drain or sewer because it can clog pipes and pollute the environment. You must dispose of paint properly and safely. Different types of paint need to be disposed of in different ways—oil-based paints must be taken to a paint recycling center, while you can throw dried-out water- or latex-based paints in the garbage.
If you're dealing with a clogged sink drain, you may be able to avoid removing the drain by using a plunger to dislodge the clog. While we associate plungers with toilets, they can do the same job with your sink drain. Be gentle, though, as forceful movements can push clogs further into your plumbing system and make them more difficult to remove. Additionally, make sure you’re using a sink plunger—with a flat bottom—and not a toilet plunger—which has a smaller bottom protruding from the larger flat piece.
Yes, short hair can clog a drain. While you might be tempted to blame the long-haired people living with you for a clogged drain, hair—no matter the length—can combine with soap scum and leftover shampoo to create a perfect storm of sticky mess that can cause your drain to slow down.
Professional tools include drain snakes, hydro jets, cameras for line inspection, and enzymatic or chemical cleaners for dissolution.
