"We have Frontpoint at two houses. We had been looking for ways to cut our monthly expenses (Frontpoint is approx. $100 per month total), so I called them to find out what I could do. They informed me that I was under contract for another year, and that I cannot get out of the contract without an early termination fee that is equal to the cost of the service. I'm a little disappointed, because the upfront cost of the system was very expensive ($1,000+) for each house, so it seems odd that I would get sucked into this contract. Nevertheless, I forgot that I signed up for this with them. My calendar is marked for the day that my service ends, and I will be switching to a company that charges about half of what they do. They have OK customer service and are very responsive, but the wireless system had some issues with reception in my house due to a fireplace, and then they didn't want to work with me to get that resolved. They're OK, but I can't really recommend them."

Hardwood flooring was scheduled to be delivered on Mon, Dec 5th.  By Thursday, Dec 8th, still no flooring and no communication from Dominic.  I called him and he said they were hurrying to finish another project so that they could devote all of their resources to mine.  Said they would start the demolition that weekend.

Demolition began on Saturday, 12/10.  Contractor worked about 3 hours and said he'd return on Sunday to finish up the demo.  He was a no-show on Sunday.  Project continued the following Monday, but contractor really only put in 3-5 hours of work most days. His slow progress even held up the flooring installer.

The flooring installer was quick and prompt.  For the most part, he did a good job.  The toilet in the 1/2 bath downstairs wasn't pulled up for sanding, so the new darker stain didn't really get absorbed in the back of the toilet.  A final coat was put on the floor after all the base boards were re-installed, so all are now smudged.

In terms of overall quality - I would give the project a C.  In some places, the base boards don't cover up the gap between the wood flooring and the wall.  Not all the base boards were nailed in as they just fell off as we were re-arranging our furniture.  The bottom step has a glued on, stained veneer type material - it's already peeling off in the corner.  The light switches in the family room were installed backwards, as well as the dimmer.  In order to dim the lights, the switch needs to slide up instead of down.  The mantel that was installed over the fireplace is not centered.

Dominic didn't do a final walk-through upon the conclusion of the project.  He simply texted and asked if it looked ok.  For spending this amount of money on a remodel, I expected more attention to detail."
