"Whatever your landscaping needs are, THIS IS THE COMPANY you want to hire. It's family owned and operated by Cruz Villegas, his wife Esmeralda and their sons. Hired them to replace sod, front and back, replace all the mulch with beautiful river rock, design a prettier landscape - both front and back yards and replace sprinklers. They also created beautiful pathways, new walkways and a new driveway. Cruz and his wife came out to do the estimate, and it was great watching him create and draw up plans and ideas. Hired him on the spot and could not be more pleased. Unlike some contractors who work several jobs at once, he and his crew work just one until it's finished. They take great pride in their work and it shows. They show up on time, they do the work, they're all polite, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and just a great group of hardworking guys. Both the owner Frank and on-site manager Luis were excellent communicators throughout the project. Luis and his crew worked hard during hot weather, and did a careful jub. The estimate for total duration was off, but Luis explained why he needed more time due to un-anticipated problems with the existing, non-optimal sprinkler system. "Unbelievable experience with Rock N Block. We went back and forth for a while on if we wanted to do turf or just continue to try and grow grass in our small front yard. Ultimately, the dog tracking in mud this spring was a breaking point for us and we contacted Rock N Block. We started working with Paul, who walked us through the process and gave us a ton of ideas on how best to implement not only the turf, but other pieces of our yard as well.
