Watson Enterprises is a General Contracting firm performing 60% residential and 40% commercial work. Our specialty is finish work including cabinetry, trim work, tile installation, kitchen and bath renovation. Owner Andy Watson earned an AOS degree in Building Construction from SUNY Alfred Campus and has been in construction for over 30 years. WE works with local qualified sub contractors for all mechanical work and self performs all other aspects of the project. Our slogan is "Building Excellence" as we strive for perfection in all aspects of our work.

"Andy and his crew removed a jacuzzi tub in our master bathroom, replacing it with a tiled shower and frame-less glass door. Plumbing and fixtures were replaced along with installing a really cool shower drain. The master bathroom vanity counter top was also replaced along with sinks and new plumbing fixtures. He also removed wallpaper from several areas of the condo. Those areas we re-textured to match the rest of the condo. He repainted most of the condo. The project was completed on time, on budget, and the finished work was of high quality. Andy is the type of guy that sees other things that need to be repaired and fixes them at the same time. He treats your home like it is his home and it shows in his level of detail. Since this is our vacation condo, we don't live locally. Andy handled all of the details and did a great job with communication. It was great to get pictures and texts of progress throughout the remodel. I think he gets as excited as the home owners on the projects."

"Bob is always great to work with! He is punctual, easy to work with and extremely meticulous! The backsplash he completed for us after the granite countertop was placed is amazing. He takes his time to do it right. And I might add he is great at cleaning up when he is done! I highly recommend Woodpecker Workshp!"

If you remove a load-bearing wall to create an entrance to a carport or covered patio, you can expect to pay between $3,200 and $9,500, with an average cost of $6,400. Factors such as the type of addition and if that area needs additional work will add to the price.

These tasks are different from the focus of a woodworker, who typically does the finer interior detailed woodwork such as trim and moldings.

Cedar and cypress are great wood choices for a window planter box because they’re readily available and won’t break the bank. However, there are plenty of wood types appropriate for a window flower box. Try using redwood for its natural resistance to rot, though it is on the expensive side.

Wood, cedar, pressure-treated pine, and redwood are commonly used. They offer durability and natural beauty suitable for outdoor structures.
