"Our heater went completely out on a Sunday morning. I got in touch with Northstar and spoke with David. He was great on the phone, assured me that someone would be showing up between 10 and 11 in the morning that very same day and sure enough they were here. Tommy and Sergio showed up and immediately got to looking at the unit. They were polite and professional from the beginning to the end. They quickly determined the heater was completely shot, got me up on the ladder to show me the problem. I think they felt for my wife, baby and I having to deal with the cold temps, because they were willing to get us a new heater on Sunday, or even just get us a space heater to get us through the day. My wife and I ended up getting a new heather and AC unit and they had everything ready for install the next day. As for installation. Chris and Paul showed up to the house on time. I have had a lot of professionals in my house before and these two by far were the cleanest. They immediately laid out protective cloth and mats from the front door to the work area. When the whole job was done, which was to have to cut a bigger access hole in the ceiling and change out the heater. When my wife got home, she could not tell that they were in the house and the work was done. They left it that clean! Even though I told them they did not have to, they put shoe covers on every time they came in and removed them ever time they left. They took time to explain things to me, answered all my questions, and even finished a couple hours earlier than expected. I mentioned to them a different problem I was having with the AC drain pipe and we discovered it was improperly buried in the ground and they took care of that too, after they were all packed up and ready to leave. I cannot stress enough how much Northstar paid attention to the little things, the details and that is what impressed me most. Very clean job. They had to cut a bigger access hole and even the new insert to attic was a beautiful piece of wood, I was expecting the cheap, not the case! Chris and Paul even closed my front door every time they went in and out so they would not let the animals or my son out. This was my first time using HomeAdvisor and the entire Northstar team has set the bar very high! I have already passed their card on to my family members!"
