"I was waiting for my kids to go back to school to get all of my carpets cleaned. They got pretty dirty this summer with all foot traffic coming throught. No, you cannot use bleach on Dekton. Avoid harsh chemicals when cleaning and treating Dekton. Such chemicals are unnecessary since Dekton is highly stain-resistant and nonporous. Instead, use a mild solution of water and soap or vinegar when cleaning your Dekton countertops and dry thoroughly with a clean cloth.

The answer to this question depends on how large the room is and how much experience you have stripping and waxing floors. It will take at least 24 hours to strip the floors, then you must allow time for drying, waxing, waiting for them to cure, and, finally, buffing them. Since you likely will not be working for the full 24 hours, it is safe to say that this is a two- or three-day job.

Both buffing and polishing increase the longevity of your floors by removing scratches and buildup, but they are different processes. Polishing removes the top layer of your floor, removing surface-level scuffs and scratches. Buffing your floor involves filling the scratches and scuffs with a buffing solution. No matter which method you choose, you can rest assured that both techniques will leave your floor looking shiny and new.
