"We had a great experience with US Home Developers and look forward to working with them again. Daniel Dachot made our lives easy from the first call. His team was on time, professional, and clean. The tile work was perfect. Would recommend to anyone thinking about a big house project."

"We search for an ac company in so many different places, we had couple visits but no company compares to this one, Rudy and Sal were absolutely professionals but friendly and explained me everything from equipment options to materials and install process. They brought a bag with them with samples of the material they use and let everything clear. The price was according to the quality of service and equipment. They scheduled our install couple days later and the crew were on time and respected my property wearing booties and covering my floor and work area. I'm surprise how fast they finished making it look perfect and leaving my new system working just perfect!!

I can say we went with the best company out there, we have a service contract with them so we will call them to maintain our system. If you want to invest your money with the best company give this guys a chance."

"I hired BGI Demolition & Hauling to remove a concrete incinerator on my property. It was a small job and we were on a tight budget. Mario was willing to work with us on pricing to help make the job possible for us. Jose, who did the actual removal, was prompt, courteous, and hard working. I very much appreciated that he took the time to clean up the area nicely and helped to move some of the pieces to an area where I could repurpose them. I was pleased with the professionalism, honesty and promptness of BGI Demolition. I highly recommend them."

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

A land survey defines and records the physical aspects of a property, including its boundaries, dimensions, easements, features, and sometimes topographical information. In contrast, a land appraisal determines the property's monetary value. While an appraiser will often consult a land survey to understand the property's physical specifications, the survey itself does not determine the land's value.

Costs vary, but you can expect to spend between $1,000 and $4,000 to prepare land for a mobile home or before you build a house. You’ll need to clear enough land for the foundation, which may require leveling or grading, as well as removing trees, stumps, and plants. Don’t forget to plan for permits and fees and the installation of a gas line, water line, and sewer main.

If you can’t find any records online, you’ll need to contact your county clerk’s office to do further research. They should have property records on file, or can at least point you in the right direction of who to contact. You can also speak with your neighbors about when their houses were built because they were likely built around the same time.

If a buyer pays for a survey, the surveyor they hired will only provide results to them. It’s up to the buyer whether they share the survey results with the seller or not, even if they ultimately walk away from the deal. It’s considered good faith to share the results with the seller, though, especially if you back out of the deal, as the seller can then provide that survey to future interested parties.

The small lines on the tape measure either indicate inches, fractions of an inch, or centimeters and millimeters. On the imperial unit side (aka the inches side), the longest lines indicate inches, followed by the next shortest lines that indicate a half-inch, and then the quarter, eighth, and sixteenth-inch. On the metric side, the lines break down meters, centimeters, and millimeters.
