"Excellent job by Adam and his team from the prep work to the wood replacements around windows, to the actual painting of the house. What impressed me the most is Adam did exactly what he said he would do, no surprises and he was very detailed oriented about every step of the process. I would recommend him as well as use him again in the future for interior painting next time. Always glad to know I picked the right person for the job as I had at least 9 quotes."

Customers say: True professional

"We had our baby’s nursery painted ahead of our new arrival. Re-painted the whole room plus did an accent wall. Perry and his son were very attentive to detail. Perry was also very knowledgeable and answered all our questions from the get go. He recommended the right paint and color for the job! We’re very pleased with the service and love the way our baby’s room came out!"

"Perry was on top of the project from the estimate to the finish. He stayed in contact with us through the entire project. He told us what he would do and was there when he said he would be. He managed his crew, the work was done professionally and we would recommend Pier and Son Painting to friends and neighbors. Very happy with the job well done! Dave & Annette"

"Rob Shaffer and his crew did an excellent job on our two story stucco repair and repaiint job. Rob provided a detailed estimate, worked with us to find colors that we liked, and carefully protected all surfaces and landscape. He and his crew did a masterful job of prepping and painting the body of the house and the extensive trim which included weathered wood and rusted iron. We are very pleased and highly recomment his service."

"We were getting ready to sell our rental house and needed some things painted as quickly as possible. We got quotes from there painting companies, and Beyond Painting offered the best price. The owner, Francisco, is amazing. He's very professional and does great work. He was able to get the job done quickly since he knew we needed to sell the house - he worked through the weekend for us. When we paint our house, we will definitely use him.

"Daniel started the job promptly and even worked part of a weekend to get it done on time. He showed up as agreed, answers his phone, and responds to texts. He uses quality materials and knows what he is doing. It was a whole unit job: walls, ceilings,, closet interiors, bathrooms, kitchen. What a difference. He may be slightly higher than some, but it is the price of quality. Thanks!"

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

To remove paint from brick with vinegar, you can use the vinegar in much the same way you would paint stripper. However, vinegar needs significantly more time to soak into the paint. Apply the vinegar with a spray bottle, let it soak in, then scrub the paint's surface.

While not all homes built before 1978 contain lead paint, enough do, so you’ll still want to test to be on the safe side. The federal government banned lead-based paint for homes in 1978, but your state may have banned lead before that time. Around 24% of homes built between 1960 and 1977 contained lead-based paint, while 87% of homes built before 1940 contained lead-based paint.

While the above methods will help you remove paint from tiles, you may need to take a different approach to get rid of grout haze. If you’ve recently applied the grout, you may be able to wipe it off with a wet cloth. Otherwise, you can try removing it with a rubber grout float, spraying it with a mixture of four parts water to one part vinegar, or using a store-bought grout haze remover.

Yes. It's another reason many people choose to use the spray over an adhesive, as they can change patterns or remove it entirely with ease if they choose. You can use acetone with a rag or a vinegar and water solution (1/2 cup of vinegar to 12 ounces of water) with a cloth to help you scrub away frosted spray glass. NEVER mix these two methods together, though, and always work in a well-ventilated area.

Yes, many professionals use non-toxic removers and dust-free sanding techniques.
