Pier and Son is second to non. Perry came to our home on time and was very respectful, tidy and efficient. The job he did came out absolutely beautiful. It was a small job and I was most impressed because most painters in the community are looking for bigger jobs. Well this is leading to another big job for us as he was very helpful with ideas to economically update our home and we definitely will be using Pier and Son Painting. Job well done.

Pier & Son Painting is top notched. Perry came out and walked our exterior painting job and gave us an estimate on the spot. He called later and gave us a date to have the work done. He even hired a carpenter to replace the siding on the back of our garage. These guys are pro's. The paint job is high quality. Our neighbor was so impressed he got a business card from them. The only con I had was that some of the things that needed to be put back after painting were not replaced. We ended up painting and installing a stair railing ourselves, pulling out some nails that were forgotten and, the big deal was that the flood light bulbs were not put back up on the side of the house and they are too high for us to put up ourselves. We are seniors and do not climb on high ladders any more so I guess they will just remain off. The bottom line is the paint job was beautifully done though, and we're very happy. Thanks Perry!

Long story short, it has been 4 months since Perry and his crew started our project; the first room they started is only 2/3rds complete; he has not shown up for agreed-upon scheduled work periods twice; he was paid 40% of the total quote price and has since refused to return e-mails, text messages or phone calls. In short, Perry took our money, left our house in shambles and repeatedly not kept commitments. DO NOT HIRE. The Whole Story: Perry was hired to remove wallpaper, patch and repair holes, retexture walls that needed it and repaint 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms in our recently purchased home. Perry presented a quote for the completion of the entire job that was reasonable and fair. We agreed the work would be completed in three phases over a 6 month period. We agreed work would begin in August of 2017. Perry requested to reschedule the project start date for later in the year so he could *take advantage of the good weather and complete exterior jobs*. We begrudgingly agreed but wanted to be accommodating to his needs. When the scheduled start date finally arrived (Sept 22-24 2017), Perry and his crew arrived to work and complete the first phase of the job which included removal of wallpaper from a large room, patching holes and blemishes on the walls, retexturing walls, repainting, re-installing trim and cleaning up after the job. Perry and his crew worked for three days removing the wallpaper, retexturing the walls and painting. At the end of the third day of work, Perry said they could not come back the next day to complete the job because he had other commitments. He assured me he would be back in less than a week to fill holes, retexture where needed, put on a final coat of paint, clean up texture splatter on our vaulted tongue and groove pine ceiling, finish the job and start on the second phase, so I paid him for the first and second phases of the job in good faith. I did not hear from Perry for more than a week. After repeated phone and text messages, I finally heard back from Perry. He admitted to not making it back in the agreed-upon time and said he would make it up to us by finishing the first phase of unfinished work on Nov 24th-26th. We questioned the timing being the Thanksgiving weekend, but he assured us he would be there. My wife and I canceled Thanksgiving plans with family and both took a day off of work to prep for his arrival...he never showed. I called and texted many, many times trying to reach him over the course of the weekend. He finally returned a call a week later claiming he *messed up the dates*. We rescheduled for January 22nd and 23rd for the work to be completed. In the 10 days leading up to the scheduled date, I attempted to contact Perry 6 times. No text or phone messages were returned and neither he nor his crew showed up to complete the work they had started.

Perry was on top of the project from the estimate to the finish. He stayed in contact with us through the entire project. He told us what he would do and was there when he said he would be. He managed his crew, the work was done professionally and we would recommend Pier and Son Painting to friends and neighbors. Very happy with the job well done! Dave & Annette

Most pleased by quick response, on same day Sunday ! Will work with time line set up, to start painting 6/10/19, and projected finish in 5 days , Most complete bid that will include all exterior,including garage doors, and rain gutters. Perry is very nice, and we feel confident in going forward with him.

Perry is a very nice guy and went above and beyond to get the job done quick related to my tight timeline. Only downside to rushing the job was there were some missed cracks in the stucco that needed to be patched. I think more time would have been spent preparing the house prior to painting if I didn't need job done so fast. Aside from that the house looks great!

My husband and I Fred and Pam Cole in Pioneer California got three estimates and my husband decided to choose pier and Son painting to paint the exterior of our two story home. My husband was a painter way back and said he had a good feeling about them and he was right they were always on time, they have great work ethics very polite. To sum it up they did an excellent job with a great attitude, I would highly recommend them because I already have, you won't regret it.

We hired Perry Pier in the early part of November of 2011. as Dad,who had passed away earllier this year, had left a home in West Point, Ca, which was in much need of disrepair. Since we live in Phoenix. AZ, we relied on Perry's expertise to do the painting and clean-up of the house. We found him to be very honest, reliaable, dependable and forthright. He kept in touch with us and worked with us on the problems as he found them. Even with the short notice and inclement weather, he was able to complete the job before the harsh winter hit. We truly appreciate his fortitude and dedication to what needed to be done.
