"Movin from Bakersfield to Los Angeles felt like a huge task for me because I had a 3 bedroom house packed with heavy furniture, fragile glassware, and so many boxes. I thought for sure it would be a nightmare. But Mario and his crew made the entire process surprisingly smooth and even pleasant. They arrived right on time, smiling and ready to work. First thing they did was walk through each room with me, asking which items needed the most care. My dining set and a big dresser were my biggest worries, but they wrapped each piece in thick blankets, secured the corners, and carried them out so carefully that I didn?t see a single scratch. What impressed me the most was their teamwork. For the upstairs bedrooms, they carried boxes down narrow stairs without hittin the walls or rushing. At the new house, they helped carry everything back upstairs again, and even asked where exactly I wanted each box to go. That saved me hours of sorting later. "My name is Lorraine, and I received a quote of $14,000 from a broker. The broker verified my inventory multiple times before the scheduled pickup, and it was accurate. However, the broker subcontracted the move to Presto Logistics, a company I was unfamiliar with at the time. I had engaged the broker, not Presto, and was unaware that they were acting as a broker themselves, which led to my surprise when a different company arrived. This situation quickly escalated when Presto Logistics increased my costs from $14,000 to nearly $30,000. They have not provided any documentation to justify this significant price hike, and they continue to refuse my requests for such paperwork. Consequently, I am left with no option but to file a complaint with the Department of Transportation to obtain the necessary documentation. Additionally, I have numerous damaged items, and without the required paperwork, I cannot file an insurance claim!"
