"Nate- Atl & Hubter- Atl. were very professional and efficient with the tear out and installation of our new bathtub. They communicated each of the steps with us and a full explanation before leaving. They arrived on time and finished earlier than I was expecting. Great job guys!"

"Ovation manages client contracts and finances while Unique Interiors (Kris Tavares) crews do the work. Overall, the construction was of average quality, and am I generally satisfied with the results. Most workers were timely, friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. However, there were a number of issues of missed timelines, demands for early payments (although the total paid was as agreed). Several of the subs or workers were problematic and callbacks from both Ovation and Unique were difficult. His work was often installed where other work was planned. As a result, his work needed redoing. Because he was rarely quickly available to fix his mistakes, these erred installations significantly increased the project duration. He rarely cleaned up after himself, leaving scraps, and construction debris left where he worked requiring other workers or the homeowner to clean-up. His worst mistake was drilling a 3 ½ in a hole in an array of standard 2X4s to accommodate a 2 in conduit to pass through. The result was that the involved wall required reconfiguring to ensure structural soundness. This event was complicated by his using brute force to remove a frozen stud in an electrical meter base, which then broke off. Instead of drilling out the broken stud, he ordered a new service, which necessitated a two-week period with no electricity to the house. Not only did this delay the project, if necessitated people living here to vacate during this time and required use of an extension cord from a neighbor to keep the refrigerator and freezer running. This alone was cause for a 3-week delay in the overall project. A number of other delays were the result of materials not ordered in a timely manner so that when workmen were assigned, instead of beginning work on the ordered materials, they had to go find what was needed at the store. In some cases, this required ordering materials that were back-ordered, adding to the delays. It must be said that this small project was originally projected to have an elapsed completion time of 1 month. In all, the project took over 4 months with many interim completion dates given and passed. These delays were complicated by two international trips the owners took, one of which I hired a person to oversee construction in my absence, the second because of problems in my first absence, I halted construction for 3.5 weeks while I was gone. The person hired to install cabinets, which were very nice quality, were hung in a very unprofessional manner with screw heads exposed inside the cabinets and many of these proud of the cabinet wall, which prevented me from using screw covers. About cabinet designs: I was presented a cabinet plan and pressured to approve it. We discussed the plan and made some agreements of the changes needed and I signed off. Unfortunately, all the changes we discussed were not followed and some original designs were ordered. This was my error for signing off to a plan without better documentation of the oral changes.Part of the plan was the installation of a shallow counter that needed custom fabrication. The finish material had to be repaired and this did not work so it was agreed to replace the counter as warranty work after the project was completed. The person who built this also undertook the redo. The final quality of the work was very poor. The counter was somewhere from ¼ to 1/8 inch away from the wall. He attempted to fill the gap with silicone and smeared it on both the wall and the counter. He left the redo in this condition without letting the owner know he was going. I reported this issue to both Ovation and Unique, without any response. I had to make the repair on the counter myself."

"Brandon did a great job with the mystery leak. He was very thorough and tried to be the least invasive with my sheetrock and ceiling leak. This way I will not have such a big project of repair to my ceiling. Great job!!!!"

"During the fires of 2020 we had damage to our house. Luis and his crew got on the job right away and handled everything for us from permits to debris removal. They rebuilt our deck and we absolutely love it!! They also replaced damaged paneling to the outside of our mobile home including the windows. They are very professional and Luis answered every question thoroughly and in detail so that the process ran smoothly. Very polite down to earth guy. I will definitely be using LC Professionals in the future for more home projects."

Customers say: True professional

"I had a master bathroom that I needed a complete remodel done on. OCCB was very professional to deal with and they were able to give me more than I could ever imagine with my remodel. They were able to incorporate a steam room in my shower and give me a walk in closet. I couldn't be happier with all the fine detail they put into their work and they were always available if I had questions or concerns. I would highly recommend them as they did good quality work in a timely manner."

"We have contacted America's Dream HomeWorks for the renovation needs of the Marvista Apartments Complex in Rancho Cordova, CA. The City of Rancho Cordova has issues a list of corrections for our complex and we knew we needed someone very reliable and trustworthy that we and our resident could count on. The renovation - remodeling contractor needed to perform top quality work to stand for long term and the work needed to be performed at timely matter along with safety and cleanliness concerns as must at all time. After doing careful and deep review of the possibly qualifying contractors we had to select ADH as they stood out as the only company that could perform all the required work with the kind of care we needed. We felt that based on ADH excellent track record of 15 years as one of top reputation remodeling, siding, windows and doors and general contractor we could totally depend on them to deliver the service, quality work and dependable materials we were needed. We needed Repair and Replacement and/or Repair Of Old Wood Siding and Stucco on Exterior Walls of 4 Large Apartment Unit, followed with some Structural Wood Frame Members Replaced in Preparation for Installation New Vinyl Siding and Fiber Cement Siding, the Decks of Each of 40 Apartment Units had to be modified including new flashing and railing works. We also needed the replacement of new windows and doors, the new double pane windows were needed to replace the existing single pane aluminum windows. Along the way we also decided that we needed to replace kitchen cabinetry, bathroom vanities and install new granite stone countertops, new sinks, new faucets- ADH can do all this cause there are licensed and certified in multiple trades unlike other 90% of the contractors who say they can do but they are not certified or licensed by state of CA in the field of work they promised to perform, this will not deliver you the peace you need for such work as electrical or plumbing modification and etc. as this came up in the process of the remodeling. ADH has licensing and Certifications as General Contractor, Plumbing, Electrical, Glazing- Glassworks, Siding and Decking, along with Flooring- all the critical trades needed to perform reliable remodeling. ADH Team delivered on the promises very easily as they are a Team of Remodeling Professionals starting with Vlad Mark and Tanya Chernioglo as the company heads and the company founders, these 2 know what it takes to work with team and customers-homeowners. The office team lead by Tanya, Lana and Natalie has kept excellent communication at all times and were very pleasant in accommodating us with schedule times and other questions we had. ADH Installers were 1st class professional tradesman, all very clean to begin with and very detailed to the work that was performed. At all times we felt that we could totally depend on them and they had the safety of us and residents in their minds at all times. All the wor"

Bathtub Replacement questions, answered by experts

The average cost to convert a tub to a shower is around $3,000, but prices can range from $1,000 to as high as $15,000. A more typical range is between $1,200 and $8,000. The final cost depends on several factors, including the amount of plumbing work required, the size of the shower, and the type of materials and fixtures chosen. A prefabricated shower stall is a more budget-friendly option, while a custom shower with features like luxury tiles, unique tiling, smart technology, or accessibility features will be at the higher end of the cost spectrum.

A chipped bathtub could leak over time if you don’t take care of the issue. A tiny chip isn’t a big deal but may eventually grow into a larger crack. As the months go by, the tub’s barrier against moisture becomes weakened, making it prone to leaking. Large chips can also cause the tub to rust and even crack in half.

An alcove tub is designed to fit into a three-walled enclosure in a bathroom. A drop-in tub, on the other hand, is placed into a custom-built frame or enclosure. This frame can be fitted to an alcove, making a drop-in tub a viable alternative if you want a more custom or spa-like look. Because the frame is custom, drop-in tubs offer more design flexibility and a wider range of materials, such as cultured marble or tile, compared to the simpler acrylic or fiberglass of a typical alcove tub. The frame for a drop-in tub can also be placed anywhere in the bathroom it fits, not just in an alcove.

Yes. Common materials for Roman tubs are acrylic, fiberglass, cast iron, and stone resin. The choice you make can depend on various factors, including weight, cost, durability, style, heat retention, and aesthetics. Ultimately, it really depends on your space to determine the best option.

While tubs are fairly sturdy, you may notice cracks or holes. This kind of damage can happen from someone accidentally dropping something heavy into the tub. You might also see damage if you drop something heavy into the tub over and over again (like your extra large bottle of body wash). While you might only notice a small dent at first, this can later turn into a crack or a hole.

Also, certain cleaners that are harmful to your tub can cause damage. And if you have a fiberglass tub, you might see cracks if it was not installed properly with the right support.
