He answered ALL of my questions to satisfaction, and even taught me a few things about home, heating and air. I can't sing his praises enough. His integrity on the job was demonstrated by letting me know exactly what was wrong with my unit, and discussed unit operation and maintenance, furthermore, he respected my home, by (on every entry into my house ) placing slip covers over his shoes to ensure that he did not track dirt in. The entire 'experience' was extremely efficient; from diagnosis of the problem to fixing it / explaining what was done and giving me tips to keep my air conditioning unit running was done efficiently and quickly. On a day that was 104 degrees (I don't envy the repairman's job), I booked an appointment @ about 7:30 AM, and my air conditioning unit had the house cold by 3PM ... I cant sing Mark's or the company that he works for Putman Heating and air enough. They have a guaranteed repeat customer, and I will tell my neighbors. Good Job. After purchasing an Angie's list deal for an AC system check and maintenance on a weekend, I was able to easily schedule a service appointment for the coming Friday My AC stopped working on Wednesday night and I was able to change the appointment to a service call when they called me the following morning to confirm the Friday appointment. On the day of the appointment, I received a call from the company to let me know that the technician was on his way. Mike was on time, friendly, and even put on shoe covers before entering my house. The fan for my centralized AC system was not even turning on, along with the AC unit which indicated a circuit breaker issue. I had previously reset all circuit breakers without any luck and the technician checked the circuit breaker box and confirmed that the issue was not at that point. He then checked the fan which was located in a very hot attic. After some troubleshooting, he identified that the issue as probably being with the electrical outlet that the fan was connected to. This was then confirmed when we connected the fan to an extension cord from another outlet. The fan kicked in and was followed by the reassuring hum of the AC. As electrical wiring was outside the allowed scope, we could no longer proceed any further until an electrician could check the outlet. As a workaround, I just left the fan connected to the extension cord as the house was starting to cool already. The final step for the visit was the write-up which was very thorough, well-written, and accurately documented the diagnosis and work performed. "Rick was on time, and he even called us when he was on the way to our house to let us know he would be arriving in 30 minutes. Rick is very nice and quite professional. He diagnosed the problem with our dishwasher in about 15 minutes after doing some disassembly, removing standing water, and testing. He had the part that needed to be replaced in his van, and the whole job was completed in less than 30 minutes. Rick told me that 97% of the time, he will have the part with him and be able to make the repair on the spot. The price for the repair seemed to me to be a bit high, but the part than needed to be replaced was the central control unit and it cost $168, plus tax. The house call and labor were $120. I guess a Bosch dishwasher is like a Mercedes, and when it needs service, it is not inexpensive. The dishwasher has worked fine since the repair. Overall we were very happy with Rick's service.
