"Cornelio was great. He did a marvelous job refinishing our bathtub, which was in poor condition. LA Reglazing's price was reasonable, and its service was prompt. Weeks later, we discovered a small bump in the reglazing. I contacted Cornelio, who came out the next day and fixed it at no charge."

"Isac and his employees did exactly what they said they would do. They showed up on time and were always on schedule. They are friendly, professional and a joy to work with. Even months after the job was complete and they were paid in full, he checked in with us to see how things were going! We had a tankless water heater go out. Isac came over, sent the bad valve in and replaced it without charging us. We would highly recommend Dynasty Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs! Good Peeps !"

"Joe laid ceramic tile in my living room and patched holes in the wall left after damage from a leaking pipe. He is very efficient, works quickly, is highly professional and very easy to work with. I definitely recommend him and will call upon him again if the need arises."

"Richard who is the owner and his crew are awesome. Their workmanship is top notch. Richard will keep you informed every steps of the way. There are no surprises when it comes to costs. He is very transparent with everything. They kept the area cleaned when they leave after each work day. I highly recommend hiss services. Bathtub Replacement questions, answered by experts

A standard bathtub can be used for soaking, but they tend to be shallower (between 15 and 18 inches deep). A soaking tub is designed to be deep enough to totally submerge yourself in the water (about 20 and 24 inches deep). Additionally, most soaking tubs are freestanding, while regular bathtubs come in various styles with drop-in, surround, and wall-mounted options available.

The plumbing industry has standardized the sizes for bathtub drains. They are 1 1/2 inches wide to fit all standard bathtubs from 14 to 26 inches deep. The standard sizing is to ensure that the drain fits into the P trap, a special part of your piping that prevents sewer water from bubbling up into your home (yuck).

The order of your bathroom renovation should prevent damage to the completed work. Start with demolition and removing the old fixtures. Then, address structural repairs or water damage, if needed. Next, tackle the rough-in phase for plumbing and electrical work, install waterproofing, and work on wall treatments like tile or paint. Install your shower or bathtub, toilet, vanity, and sink. Flooring goes in after major fixtures but before the toilet. Lastly, install new lighting fixtures, mirrors, and other finishing touches as desired.

Yes, a bathroom remodel is a worthwhile home improvement project that typically adds value to your home, offering a return on investment (ROI) between 60% and 70%. Potential buyers look closely at bathrooms and kitchens, as these are often the most expensive rooms to renovate. A modern, updated bathroom is more appealing and assures buyers that the plumbing, fixtures, and flooring have a long, useful life ahead. Beyond the financial return, a remodel can also greatly increase your day-to-day satisfaction by creating a more inviting, spa-like space. Even a basic refresh with new paint and accessories can make a significant difference.

The reasons not to install flooring underneath a bathtub outweigh the benefits. A properly installed bathtub will keep water from reaching the unprotected subfloor underneath. Installing a tub on top of finished flooring can lead to damage and scratches to the new floor. Also, a small leak from a tub drain may be more difficult to notice if finished flooring impedes water drips.
