"Absolutely Great moving company! I hired Magic Moving recently to move my parents furniture after years in public storage. I knew it would be challenging since they have antiques, heavy wood furniture, art and expensive collectibles. I chose the right company because the movers were careful, packed a whole bunch of stuff, covered all of their antiques with thick moving pads, and hustled quickly! Everything was delivered to their new home without any problems. The movers were clean, great attitude and very experienced. They were kind, patient and helpful in so many ways. They also took some items to the dump for me. Very professional, fast and courteous. They made it fun, never complained or took a break!! Amazing! I highly recommend hiring Magic Moving and Storage. We couldn't be happier!!"

"I hired Tim and his crew to help me move from a rental into my new home. I had to change the date a few times because I was remodeling my new home and there were delays in completing the remodel. Tim was wonderful and so easy to deal with! He was so understanding about the delays and offered several alternative dates for the move. When moving day came, Tim and his son were very professional and efficient. They filled every inch of the moving truck, then unloaded boxes and assembled furnishings at the new house. "We've just moved in and have had a ton of work done already, so I'm only giving reviews to the absolute STANDOUT service providers. We actually had one crew load our van, another crew of guys start the unloading, and Brewer Moving finished up the job. We would have preferred to have Brewer do all the work, but our closing date kept getting pushed out. So we'd call and let Jared know we had to reschedule... several times - and he was totally polite about it (although we wouldn't blame him if he was rolling his eyes by the third, or sixth time). Finally - at the last minute (in the morning) we let them know that 'for sure' we would have keys... somewhere around 2pm. They already had another afternoon job, but promised they'd come right over as soon as that was finished. Hence the first couple of guys who came over to help us unload, who were... um, not pros. The Brewer crew let us know they were stuck in traffic as they headed to our house around 5pm (on a Friday night). The first two guys had barely scratched the surface of our 26' truck by the time they arrived. In minutes you could tell the difference. Brewer Moving knows their stuff. They had a crew of 4. They have good body mechanics, they understand furniture and weight load balancing, and how to get the maximum value out of every load, every trip up stairs, etc... They worked fast, smart, and carefully. We let the first couple of guys go shortly after they arrived because they were actually getting in the way of the Brewer Moving crew. Brewer even managed to get our enormous new refrigerator in through our 32" pocket door to the kitchen. All in all, this was NOT an easy job, we kept rescheduling, then when we finally had a date it was late on the Friday before Christmas, and yet they acted like it was just another job. We were so grateful to these guys for everything! I'd give them all a hug if I could right now. We will definitely be using them again and recommending them to everyone who needs help. "In spite of numerous negative reviews about Move Quick, Inc., I opted to hire this company for my move from West Virginia to Los Angeles. I spoke to Phillip, the manager/owner, who convinced me that the posted complaints had been resolved and were exaggerations. However, I, too, was subjected to an exaggerated low bid in order to snag my business. I, too, experience problems with the pick up and the delivery dates. The movers were a day late in arriving, then quoted me a 67% increase in price, from $3,100 to $5,200. BUT I was stuck. The company already had my deposit money. Also, I was charged for one flight of stairs and an exaggerated inaccurate measurement of my front door to the truck. I had been told there was no fee for one flight. I had provided exact measurements for the items in my two rooms of furniture. True, I had 51 boxes instead of 40 but that did not warrant such an increase in price, 67% almost $2,000. Delivery was also problematic. I had told Move Quick, Inc. that I would be at my new home 25 days after the pick up, October 30, 2019. That should have been more than enough time for any truck to drive cross country. They made me wait until December 4, 2020, a total of 25 days to drive 2,400 miles. I made the drive solo in 5 days. Communication with the company once they have your money is near to impossible. It took threats and 6 days for Philip to respond. He then provided an insignificant $75 discount. My recommendation: go with a larger company than can provide an accurate estimate and deliver within a reasonable time. Also, use a company that uses the industry standard of moving cost based on the weight of your items. Don’t let Phillip tell you his method of charging based on volume is better. No one else does this, for a reason. Other estimates I had received were in the $3,700 range.I should have Booked Elsewhere!”"
