He got back to me quickly, understanding the importance of our household of 5 relying on not just comfort, but safety as well, and said he could squeeze me in the same day between appointments. He arrived at 9 am, diagnosed the problem, and replaced the broken $30 part. He is handling the warranty paperwork as well. In a time of huge businesses that treat you like a transaction, it's nice to see a company that exudes the hometown feel while still maintaining a high level of professionalism. It's like the old family doctor who you can get to know and who will take the time to explain the issue and make proper recommendations. "In one visit, Dave completed my "to do" list of small fixes around the house (about 13 tasks - from remounting wire grid (holding up jasmine) on my wood fence that had fallen off, secured shower handle , resolved several caulking issues , revamped a couple of electrical plugs, replaced weatherstripping on kitchen door and added all new baseboards in garage (moving washer/dryer) to something as simple as removing both bathroom fans so I could clean and then re-positioned them (thin mounting wires very difficult to manage in such tight space in ceiling box!)
