We used EA construction a couple of years ago for our front yard and driveway and we did not hesitate to call Eric again to do our backyard. We discussed all sorts of options for the backyard as a whole before we started, including pavers, different kinds of decking, colored and stamped cement, patio covers, fountains, built in B-B-Q and benches, lighting and grass. Eric was great at pointing out the pros and cons of each material and coming up with ideas that had never even occurred to us. He was able to show us pictures of other yards he had done so that we could more clearly picture what the end result of our yard might be. Once we finalized our plans, Eric gave us an extremely reasonable quote and told us approximately how long the project would take. Eric (and sometimes Eric and Charles) showed up on time, every day that they told us they would be there. They worked cleanly and efficiently and tried to make the whole process as easy on us as possible, as well as finishing in the amount of time that he said they would. Eric's biggest priority in working on a project is to make sure that you as the customer, are happy with the finished product. He checked in with us often to see if we were all on the same page with how everything was going. In my experience, Eric always goes above and beyond in the work he does. We are extremely happy with our backyard and would definitely hire EA construction again!

We are very happy with the work that EA Construction did on our house. Eric, the owner, was very professional -- he kept his commitments, was timely and honest. Once he started our job, he worked continuously on it until it was done. He communicated clearly and honestly about every phase of the project. Eric was very conscientious about sticking to our budget. Even when he found wood damage under the rock, he was able to work out a solution that stayed with the original estimate. We were concerned about having to call our gardener to replace our sprinkler pipes that went under the front walkway. Eric said that he would take care of and it was part of his bid. He replaced the sprinkler pipe and also some of the sprinkler heads. It was small compared to the entire job but something that we really appreciated. Overall, I feel that Eric really takes pride in his work and it is reflected in the great job he did on our house.

Eric and Charles were a pleasure to work with. They arrived at 8am every morning unless they had to pick up supplies. They kept me informed on the progress. Eric was very good about explaining issues in detail and finding solutions. We are very pleased with how everything turned out. We would definitely use them again.

Eric advised us on what was most cost effective and best appearance. Every benchmark and timeline they laid out was met or exceeded. He and his team were highly professional and proactive in all communications. They did such an excellent job for a great price that we will be hiring them to do our entire backyard when it is time.

We would recommend Eric as a contractor because there are options available they others may not see or recommend. We could always expect them to show up on time each day and Eric was there from start to finish.

After hiring EA Construction late last year to replace our driveway and backyard patio with pavers we hired him to do the front yard. Eric convinced us to redo the entryway and get rid of the steps that were there. He advised us that we could just have a gradual slope instead of steps and we liked the idea. We wanted a new patio from the front door to have a place to sit and enjoy the area. They tore out the existing hardscape and softscape and placed new antique pavers in our walkway and created a new paver patio from the front door. Now our front yard hardscape all matches with new pavers. They also built a small retaining wall and placed brown bullnose brick on the wall and then placed stone veneer on the hardscape which looks awesome. We also had a vinyl pergola installed by EA Construction which we purchased through USA vinyl and they built it for us and installed it on the patio. The neighbors love our new hardscape and our pavers as well as our hardscape wall with stone veneering. I hand out business cards when asked and always tell my friends and family of our experience and how they should use this company if they need hardscape work completed. This company shows up when they say and work; They work on one job at a time and Eric the owner is always on the job every day.

My wife and I were referred to EA Construction from a close family friend. We called Eric and received a free estimate. We advised him that we just bought our home and the would like a porch new entryway and walkway to the front door as well as new driveway. The old concrete driveway was cracked and unsightly. Eric suggested that we use pavers as they are a superior product to concrete. We liked the idea and were given choices on the pavers. We had seen some of his projects and liked the antique cobble for the price. He told us he would place them at a 45 degree angle to they would look better and we loved it. The pavers were placed in about two weeks. We now have a beautiful porch, patio to hang out on and the walkway is nice because it all ties together. The new entryway of pavers gives our house a new approach so people don't have to walk across the grass anymore. The driveway with the pavers in the center and the paver border around the perimeter looks great. We could not be happier and would definitely recommend using Eric for any future hardscape projects as well.

we wanted our front yard raised up and hired EA construction to do the work. They gave us a free estimate and we agreed to do the work. They excavated soil and placed a hardscape masonry wall about 3 feet high in the front yard to raise it up. While they were there I asked them to estimate replacing our concrete driveway as well. We agreed on a price and they began next day. Eric told me it would be about a week. He demolished our old cracked concrete driveway and removed it the first day. The next two days He placed a paver border on concrete with rebar which holds all of the pavers in. He gave us style options of pavers and colors from Orco paving stones. We loved the antique cobble pavers and wanted these placed. He informed us he would do what is called a "random I" pattern which has a pattern but looks random and he was right. The pavers were placed in three days and we were ready to drive on them. Now, over a year later they still good as new. We love the pavers he placed and are glad he sold us on this type of hardscape for our future. I always get compliments and asked who did the work and actually am proud to refer EA Construction. If you want a company that will show up when they say they will and the owner is there from start to finish day in and day out give Eric a call.

We loved the job they did and it was very hassle free. I would change my mind quite a bit throughout the job and they were very accommodating to say the least. I would change add or take away stuff on a daily basis and Eric always told me OK whatever you want. He was wonderful about coming up with ideas for the hardscape pavers, concrete, bricks bbq, stone veneering. I picked out the style and color I liked and they would install it. They showed up each and everyday when they were supposed to and focused on my job exclusively. They even worked in the pouring down rain every time it rained. I felt they knew what they were doing and I was in good hands the entire project. It was a great deal of work and along the way I spent a fortune on Gatorade and Lunches for Eric and his guys as I offered to buy them lunch a lot. It was such a smooth easy process that even though the yard was torn apart for a long time, I knew it would look great in the end. They were awesome. This is a contractor and crew you can trust to show up when they say they will and get the job handled quickly and with as little hassle as possible. I think the one thing I liked the most was Eric was there every day on sight to make sure things were taken care of. The sad part is, we are getting read to do an addition and some of the work including that beautiful BBQ will have to be destroyed to all for it.

My mother is very happy with the work that was completed. They started everyday at 8am and left at 4 after cleaning up for the day. We were nervous at first because of hearing horror stories about contractors and remodels, but it didn't take long to see those stories weren't true in this case. Eric is the owner and he was there every day on the job or picking up supplies. There wasn't a contract signed and then he disappeared like most contractors. We could always expect him to be there to make sure things were getting finished and we loved that feeling. He said in the beginning he wasn't here to "nickel and dime" us and wanted us to be happy. Our biggest hurdle was figuring out what sink, toilet, shower fittings, tiles, we wanted as the cost for these items fluctuates tremendously. He gave us measurements and ideas but said that he didn't work with any suppliers and that is was best to give us a price for installing what we purchase and let us do the shopping. He said that when they do built in BBQs they do the same thing and it works well for them and the customer. We had an idea of colors and items to go with and it worked out great in the end. Everybody that comes to visit wants to go in the back bathroom now which is funny but understandable. The driveway pavers turned out better than we thought. We were going to go with regular concrete and a broom finish, but Eric told us that for a little more money we could get pavers which are 4xs stronger and far superior to regular concrete. We were not even sure what they really were at first but he showed us brochures and websites and we were sold. They have color to them and don't crack or lose the color. We are blown away by the transformation, but unfortunately now the front yard needs updating because of how good the driveway looks. These guys are very good at what they do and treated our job as if it were their own home.

They emailed me everything. His proposal was $10,000 and it was for a middle class neighborhood rental home. They wanted to do a lot of extensive things such as re-do the whole driveway which was inappropriate for the rental situation. He oversells! He didn't listen and provide me with what I needed.

"We came out to do a complete yard evaluation of the property. You advised us that you wanted to fix the place up and give it more curb appeal. Your driveway on the rental property was cracked and broken etc. We kept the design to a bare minimum per your request because it was a rental property. You have a large front yard and with updating all that you were asking for the estimate should have been more. We were discounting work in actuality and are completely blindsided by this terrible review as the job we were hired to do was completed. We were to do a design consult and rendering. You asked us for an estimate and this was all done almost 3 years ago. Very disappointed you were not satisfied as your F grade clearly indicates."

On the patio, the tiles had to be removed, with a hand tool, because they weren't suitable for the concrete crusher recycling process. It was a painstaking task which would have driven me crazy, but Eric and his crew got it done without any colorful outbursts.
Every stage of the project was completed on schedule, with compelling expertise.

Having already done work for my brother in law, I was to referred to Eric when I needed major landscape work. He's done great work for my front and back yard. Punctual and on time, he listened and took into account everything that I wanted. Everything turned out great and everyone complimented the finished work. A+. Both of my jobs went well, which is why I had Eric come back out to do the front after I did the back. All the guys on the job were punctual every day. Eric doesnt' just sell the job he participates in every stage of the job working along side his employees. He started when he said he would and finished when he said he would. He was pleasant, honest, reasonable and did beautiful work. I trust him and the guys that work for him with any of my landscaping wants. In order to get an idea of the type of rock I wanted on the front of my house I went to one of his other jobs which was way more extensive then even mine and I was in awe of the capability and beauty of the fountains, pergolas, rock, plants, landscaping etc. I would hire Eric for any job I have.
