Shenon ConstructionAfter interviewing multiple GC’s, we ultimately decided on Tom and Shenon Construction because of his/their punctuality, professionalism, honestly, and experience. We are 75% done with our full house remodel and it’s been a pleasure working with them. Compared to other proposals they are a bit more expensive but you are paying for premium service and labor; there are no short cuts in work. There were multiple occasions where Tom and his crew went the extra mile and above and beyond, and were trustworthy and honest about work that deemed unnecessary or wasteful, which we appreciated since you’re investing thousands of dollars building your home. Berger's PaintingThe painters were here on schedule every day. They covered everything to avoid getting paint where it wasn't supposed to be. They removed pictures from the walls and moved furniture out of the way, and put everything back in its place when done. Their painting was meticulous and the finished work is beautiful. Supreme Remodeling IncI worked with Supreme Remodeling last year to rebuild house for me in Burbank last year. It was a long and arduous project that involved demolishing 50% of an old house down to the studs and then building an attached addition from the ground up. I sent out my completed architectural plans to at least 15 different companies, and took interviews with many of them. Received bids from maybe 5-6 different ones. Here's what the difference was. First of all, Micky the owner of Supreme remodeling took the initial meeting himself. He was in no way pushy or salesy in any way. He was patient (it took a month for me to come to a decision). I was able to look at ACTIVE construction projects that he had going on. He was extremely knowledgeable on all of the new building trends and he has a good eye for design. Once I signed on, it took about 9-10 months to complete. He has a good roster of subcontractors that he works with. But his inside guys Eddie and Ronell are outstanding. In the end the real difference that sets Supreme apart has to be the service. Micky and his staff are very available and responsive. Even on a Sunday night he's active and communicating the following weeks work. If there's an issue he's on top of it. And even though the initial cost of the project was high, you definitely get what you pay for and to be honest, it is a very common experience to have contractors to offer you a lower price just to rope you into a situation where they constantly barrage you with extra charges during the project because they weren't "in the contract". All in all I would definitively work with Micky and supreme again in the future on any projects that I have coming up.- Frank C.

Construction MastersMoshe, Mickey and the guys at Construction Masters did a stellar job on our huge home remodel. We added a second story to our small 2-1 craftsman bungalow in Westwood, nearly doubling it in size. We also moved a kitchen and living room wall and completely gutted our very old kitchen. We basically rebuilt the entire home, while doing out best retain and restore the character of our older home. We had tried to start this process over a few years, running into snags and unethical contractors along the way, and are so happy that we landed in the capable hands of this team. At every step along the way, we felt honestly communicated with and cared for on a personal level. They were top notch as well as courteous and considerate of our neighbors. Not only did they do a remarkable job and make our house the talk of the neighborhood, they went above and beyond to really be sure we were always 100% happy with all of the work being done. Even with the pandemic hitting right in the middle of our project, they managed to finish within our original timeline as promised. SOD Home GroupWe hired SOD Home Group for our complete home remodel, and the results are amazing. We’re the owners of a 5,300 square foot home in Los Angeles area that we purchased new in 2005. After all those exceptional years with our three children and pets, it was way pastime for repairs and a refresh. We interviewed several general contractors, and we selected Oren and his team at SOD Home Group because of their experience, knowledge, and vision for our home. They transformed our outdated, worn-out home into a modern showcase. They took the house down to the wood framing. They removed walls to open up the house. They installed bigger, modern windows to open up the house to the outside. Doors were replaced. The kitchen was refreshed with new cabinets & upgraded appliances, floors and a much bigger center island. The upstairs balcony was rebuilt with a modern glass railing. Walk-in showers were installed in all the bathrooms. They designed and installed a unique revolving television wall in our master bathroom. The construction crew always worked hard to please us. SOD Home GroupI recently purchased a fixer, and I wanted to rebuild everything and to place it back in the market for sale. The project included removing all the interior up to the studs and to change also the layout so it will have a large open space and modern.I got 6 estimates when trying to find a contractor to do a large project, and this was my first sign that Oren and SOD Home Group were a step above all the rest. The other estimates came as a price estimate through a text message and via phone calls, and nothing more. Oren completed a full scope-of-work in the contract, while paying attention to my wants and needs for the work. He presented the 3D design contract in a branded folder with additional forms and instructions and went over it with me for several hours. Oren set the expectation of what materials I needed to purchase and what he would supply at the onset and pointed me toward where to purchase many high-quality materials at a good price. If I had questions about pricing or materials, he was available via phone, text or facetime to consult and let me know if I should purchase it or if he could find a better price for a similar product.Once the work began, it proceeded quickly and Oren handled all the coordination from start to finish. His wonderful teams were thorough and polite while on site, answering all my questions and taking my requests or suggestions into consideration. End result- the new house looks amazing! I couldn’t be happier. I’m a real estate agent so I work with a lot of different contractors and I can tell you most of them are horrible. SOD Home Group pays attention to the business and customer relations aspects, not only the work to be done, and that means a lot to me. Sal’s team did a wonderful job, worked hard, fast & well, to produce a beautiful and even coat of paint throughout the whole house. Sal was here the whole time and personally lead his team working furiously himself. Sal was also the electrician, while his carpenter hung, painted and aligned all the doors. Sal’s team carefully masked each room, painting two large rooms each day and up to four smaller rooms and the hall in a single day. Sal applied three coats of paint to three rooms that were changing colors, even using the top of the line Sherwin-Williams paint I wanted to use & provided. I have several other jobs and will look to Sal first to do those jobs. I highly recommend Sal’s Handyman Services & suggest that you should consider yourself blessed if you can get him.

We had the best experience with Arevalo Painting. We just bought our first home and wanted to have the exterior painted along with the metal roof. Upon several disappointing meetings where painters were discouraging us from painting the roof I began searching specifically for someone that was skilled to tackle the project. Within minutes of my quote request I heard back from Samuel (owner) and within a few hours he was at our property to look at and discuss the job. That same evening I had a detailed estimate outlining all our requests for the job. Everything about our experience with Samuel and his team was beyond our expectations. Along with the estimate, Samuel included a note stating that doing this project meant delivering quality work, meeting our expectations as well as delivering the highest service and experience; Samuel delivered. Our house looks absolutely amazing! The attention to detail on even the tiniest of areas or those you might assume are not even visible, was superb. Samuel and his team are not only incredibly skilled at their trade, but they are also exceptional at delivering the best customer experience. Sounds silly to rave so much about having our house exterior painted, but really when they were approaching the end of the job, my husband and I were sad to see Samuel and his team go. Professional, friendly crew. Very responsive. We had wall insulation blown in, which meant the crew needed to patch and fill over 100 quarter-sized holes before they could start painting. The team spent a solid week patching, scraping, cleaning the walls in preparation for the the paint. Once the project was done, the quality of their work was evident - no signs of any holes or patch work. They also accommodated a request to repaint the chimney/stone veneer as we’d chosen the wrong color. Overall great company to work with and I’d readily recommend them to anyone seeking good house painters.
