"Joel was very prompt in responding to our needs. His quote was complete and the job was completed on time. We had him install a new lawn sprinkler system in a small rear yard which was done nicely. The sprinklers in the flower beds were a bit of a disappointment. We expected they would be underground but instead consisted of a drip type flex-pipe that was just laid above ground. Our fear is that this line will be cut by gardeners trimming the flower bed plantings and will require frequent repair."

"Backyard installation with putting green and artificial grass fringe; great job and full artificial grass on one side looks like authentic grass. Estimation on cost was spot on. Installers did a great job explaining the process and the care of the lawn. Recommend this company to anyone who wants a great job and price."

"Eddie was professional and efficient. He did my front yard landscape and it is beautiful. In addition to that, he installed some sprinkler valves. Everything looks great. He can do it all. I went ahead and asked him if he was able to install some fans and several cameras in my property and without any hesitation got the job done. I was very pleased with his work. Thank you Eddie! I will for sure be recommending him to friends and family."

"Adrian was very quick to respond to my quote request. He professionally evaluated the scope of the project. Gave me a number that was lower than the previous quotes received and I hared him on the spot. One week later the project was completed. Pleasurable to talk with. Tried uploading photos but file is too large?"

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

In most cases, having a fire hydrant installed on your property, whether it’s maintained by you personally or your municipality, will reduce your insurance premiums. Its proximity to any buildings on the property will reduce the time it takes to put out a fire, thus reducing the resulting damage.

No, you can’t completely fireproof a house. There is always a chance that a fire can break out inside or outside your home. Even if most of the home is built with fireproof materials, a long-burning fire can still cause damage. Still, fireproofing efforts can buy you additional time to evacuate and give you a better chance of salvaging your home after a fire rather than needing to rebuild entirely.

Your pilot light needs to be on whenever you’re using your furnace to heat your home. However, you might decide to turn it off during the summer months, when you don’t need heating. Doing this can save you a little bit of money on utility costs—just make sure you’re fine with relighting your pilot light (or hiring a professional to do it) when fall comes around and you’re ready to get cozy.

Baseboard heaters are generally safe and efficient, but they can be dangerous if safety precautions are not followed. To ensure safety, do not block the heaters with furniture, drapes, open doors, or other items, and maintain clear space around them for proper heat flow. Regularly check that items have not fallen on or under the units. If you have children or pets, make sure they stay clear of hot heaters to avoid burns. For added safety, consider models with an automatic shut-off feature and have them professionally tested. If a problem occurs with a baseboard heater, always contact a qualified electrician or HVAC professional for repairs.

You don’t have to put smoke detectors in every room. At a minimum, though, there should be one on every level of your home, one in every bedroom, and one in the hallways outside the bedrooms. If you have a floor without bedrooms, place a smoke detector in the living room or next to any stairs that lead to an upper level. Attics and basements should also have at least one smoke alarm.
