"It went great. Eddie asked several questions to make sure we were on the same page. He made a few suggestions and got to work. He installed ceiling fans in the bedrooms and wall switches. He arrived early and was done by early afternoon. Eddie did a great job. So I asked him to install pot lights and connect to an existing switch in my kitchen. Again he did a great job. I asked Eddie to return next month to install lighting in my patio area. Thanks Eddie."

"Had to have some electrical work done at my home. Jake came out and was efficient and very courteous. Also was surprised at how inexpensive the service actually was. I will be using this company in the future and I would highly recommend them."

"Great. They were professional, absolutely understanding about wearing masks initially (it was an outdoor job, but I needed us both to be wearing masks during the explanation), and the work was done quickly. They even strung the light for me! We will use them again, and we have already recommended them to several neighbors."

Just a perfect high quality and workmanship. Sam is one of the most professional contractor that we came across since we bought our first house. His great sense of communication, skills and honesty are the most capturing features that anyone want to have in any contractor. He is always happy to suggest the right options without go over the budget. The installers were just wonderful too. What a wealth of knowledge! Overall, we had an excellent experience and a perfect kitchen. Thanks to Cielo Construction for their gorgeous workmanship."

Chandelier Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, you should have an outlet box if you plan on installing an outdoor fixture. You can install an additional outlet box at the same time you complete your fixture installation, though. Not only does this outlet work with outdoor light fixtures, but it comes in handy for other outdoor fixtures, like holiday lights.

The type of lighting you choose can have a big part in the aesthetic and function of your space. Ambient lighting refers to indirect or diffused lighting that evenly reaches most areas of the space. Task lighting illuminates specific areas, such as a workspace. Accent lighting draws attention to details in your home, and decorative lighting draws attention to itself.

The housing for high-quality recessed lighting can last a lifetime. But how long the bulbs last depends on the type you choose. LED lights are the most common and tend to last the longest, often 30,000 to 40,000 hours. Compare that to incandescent bulbs, which only last for 1,000 hours or so.

Testing tools, such as Christmas light testers, non-contact proximity electrical testers, and multimeters, all simplify the process of testing Christmas lights. However, without one or more of those tools, testing Christmas lights the old-fashioned way only works sometimes. Without testing tools, the simplest testing method is visual inspection, which may or may not yield positive results.

No, there aren’t additional code requirements for kitchen lights. Kitchen lights and other electrical circuits in the kitchen have different code requirements. Outlets need to be particularly robust because of their frequency of use and proximity to liquids. If you need help determining where to install outlets in your kitchen, consult a local electrician who can ensure that placement is functional and up to code.
