Customers say: Quick response

"Reynaldo Nunez is a honest hard working guy. I had a large project that we hired them for. Remoldeled our entire back yard. Plants x30, Palm trees x10, some gravel work as well as sod installation to include sprinklers and drip system. He and his crew did an amazing job. The best part was he made sure we were happy every step of the way. He was very flexible to changes we made along the way and Pricing was awesome. I will not use anyone else for future projects. He made our yard look like a Tropical Paradise. Thank you Reynaldo, the Dinet Family."

"Great experience working with Active Demolition. All permits were obtained, the work was done without any "extras" added on. I would recomment Active Demolition to anyone that needs his services. Shirley W"

"not that great. basically paid $99 to get an estimate. included cleaning roof and minimal repairs. took a while to get appointment, and then when they came, they didn't even do the work! gave a really big estimate and then re-seheduled to have someone else do the work. they wouldn't totally replace the roof, gave different estimates to repair, I went with a different company to do a full roof rplacement."

"It went very well.  They were here when they said there would be here and finished when they said they would be done.... 3 days.  They were neat and cleaned up very well.  The wall patches were done well too.  After completion, there was a drip at an outside joint.  When we called, they came right out and fixed it.  We have had no problems since.

"Paul was great. We hired him originally to demo the kitchen and remove a
wall that was between the Living Room and Kitchen. Once completed, I
had another group coming in to build and put up the new kitchen and
island. That went horribly and asked Paul if he could do it for us, he
had other jobs lined up and but said he would help us out. It took a
little longer to complete because he had to work this new project into
his already booked schedule, but it got done and looks great. Paul was
here most of the time hands on, but when he couldn?t be here his staff
worked just as hard and were friendly. If Paul doesn?t like the way a
project was done on these days, he gets his guys back right away and
makes sure its done to his standards (cant ask for better than that). We
like working with him so much that we have hired him again to do some
work on our fireplace. He is affordable and beat the prices of other
contractors we interviewed. I truly can?t stress enough how great this
process was, and if you hire him I?m sure you would be as happy as we
were with his work.

Excavating questions, answered by experts

Underground downspouts refer to the sections of downspout extensions that lead away from your home and gutter system. While they cost more than traditional extensions, they can provide several benefits, such as less frequent damage and no need to move them for lawn care tasks. Whether they're worth it or not depends on your budget at installation time and how much convenience they'll add to your situation.

Tree experts don’t advise against digging through tree roots, but instead encourage caution and consultation with a local arborist to make sure you don’t damage the tree’s structure or interrupt its water or nutrient intake. An arborist can recommend specific practices when digging and help prune the roots or dig a trench for utilities with a tool that can remove soil without touching the tree’s roots.

A mini excavator can dig between 5 and 11 feet deep, depending on the type and size of the mini excavator. Mini hydraulic excavators are more powerful and can reach deeper into the earth, but electric models have a more limited range. Mini excavators over two tons in size are also more powerful and able to dig as deep as 11 feet.

The physical constraints of hand-drilling a well limit the depth you can achieve. Manually digging with picks and shovels may only lead to shallow wells of up to 60 feet in depth. To reach greater depths, you need more specialized equipment. The diameter of your well and the tools you’re using will determine how far down you can dig.

The easier way to find buried sprinkler lines is to use the plan from the professionals who installed the system. If you don’t have professional plans, listen for running water on your lawn when you turn on the system. You may also spot wet areas, giving you an idea of where the heads are. Once you find the sprinkler heads, you’ll likely be able to connect the dots between them, revealing the system below.
