"This is my first time leaving a review for a company as I've never felt the need to, but using Pacific Environmental I feel I should share with my home owners. My husband and I bought out first home which we love but a room had acoustic ceiling. I reach out to PEAS, which everyone in the office was very helpful and patient on guiding me through this experience. Their scheduling was amazing as I was dealing with Closing Escrow and moving my family in. Once they arrived, they informed me on the scope of work and what they would be doing and what to expect, this being my 8-year-old son room so I was a bit worried on hazardous material that was being removed and used. CONTAINMENT WAS AMAZING! I was so happy and felt so safe on how they kept the area and the protection they took to take care of my family and themselves. My kids thought the crew looked pretty cool too, haha. CLEANING WAS AMAZING! Work was conducted upstairs and they went the extra mile and cleaned everything they touched, I really appreciate that, as it again made me feel secure and safe. PEAS left a memorial memory our kids still talk about. I strongly recommend them and would use them again."

"Michael Kuretich thoroughly tested the inside and outside of the house for lead paint. He took many samples from linoleum glue (black tar) on different surfaces and had them tested for asbestos. He came back a few times and tested the air after the removal of lead-containing bathroom tiles and flooring that contained asbestos in the glue. He did not charge me for one of his visits and inspections. His price is really fair while maintaining quality. He is knowledgeable ang gives sound advice. I used one of the companies he recommended for lead and asbestos removal and I was very happy with their work as well.
Another company listed with Angie's List wanted much more for the same service. When I asked why, he said that is the price for and quot;wall-to- wall testing.and quot; Please watch out for crooks.

"Ron was absolutely wonderful and immediately allayed any fears I had concerning the mold remediation. When I first called him, he spent a considerable amount of time explaining about mold and his protocol in examining a site. After explaining that he uses the EPA guidelines in his recommendations for remediation, I knew I had the right man for my needs. He completely examined the affected area, took lab samples and sent me his very detailed preliminary report containing the treatment recommendations and a separate report with the lab results. Because this was for a rental unit with two small children within the family of occupants, I knew I had to be thorough and careful in my treatment approach. Ron gave me complete confidence in moving forward with a treatment plan. He very generously offered to guide the workmen I had hired to do the job so that the treatment would be done properly. I not only took him up on his offer, but arranged to have final lab testing done after treatment to make sure there was nothing left to cause future problems. Highly recommend! ***UPDATE*** 1/17/11 When work was finally commenced on the property Ron had done testing on 1/7/11, the contractor thought he found another potential mold area behind the wall where the water damage had originated. Anxiously and in a near panic, I contacted Ron on Sunday 1/16/11 for his guidance on how to approach the problem. Ron guided the workman on what to do by phone, and then about an hour later came out to take a lab sample which ultimately came back clean. No mold was found behind the wall, by the way. All this on a football playoff Sunday! Ron is so awesomely superior in his service that he blows away the competition. He not only saved me thousands over a bid I had received from a mold remediation company for the job, but gave superlative support through the entire process. Before you spend thousands on a suspected mold remediation project, give Ron a call first. You will get an HONEST evaluation of your problem that just may save you thousands without tearing apart your house, but if it turns out that this is necessary - and he'll give you the no bull assessment - you can rest assured that Ron will give you outstanding guidance through the process to a clean finish."

"My remediation was challenging because I live a couple states away from the house I own. I had received a quote from another company saying that my whole bathroom needed to be torn out. When AM/PM inspected, they suspected that the damage was not that widespread. Sure enough, when they did the demo, the mold had not spread widely into the walls. I appreciated their honesty, even though it meant a smaller job. Maya came to the house to assess the damage, then remained my point of contact throughout the job. "In December 2009 we discovered mold in an upstairs bedroom closet.  We found Circle Vision Construction on Jen's List, where Frank Colbert was highly recommended.  From day one, Frank managed all aspects of the mold remediation and subsequent reconstruction.  He negotiated with the insurance company, who paid him directly so we didn't have to deal with any payments.  His staff was polite, clean and extremely efficient.  We experienced none of the contractor issues we hear from friends and colleagues.  He brought in a top notch designer, who was covered within the insurance funds.  All rooms involved were torn out, down to the studs.  We remodeled the upstairs bath, adjacent bedroom, powder room and laundry room to custom home standards, all within the insurance funds.  This included hard wood floors, tile, custom cabinets for the baths and laundry room, granite, high end lighting fixtures and hardware. In additon, Frank arranged for wood floors to be laid and substantial interior and exterior painting including repair of our window trim, patio cover, and gazebo, which had suffered both termite and weather-related damage.  The project took about 6 months to complete and we were able to live in the home all through that time.  Throughtout that time, Frank was a constant presence, from overseeing his subcontractors, to performing hands on work, to taking us shopping to pick out hardware, tile, wood and granite.

In October 2010, a hot water pipe behind the wetbar in our family room burst requiring more mold remediation and complete reconstruction.  We called Frank immediately.  Again he negotiated with the insurance company, and we were able to lay hardwood floors, install custom cabinetry, and re-construct a pub-style bar with granite and wood and a built in refrigerator, all within the insurance funds. We worked with the same designer, who selected window treatments, sofa cushions, throw rugs and accessories to complete the look of the room.
