"Amazing job. This was the 2nd time we hired them for a local move (3,000 SF home). Experienced, professional movers who did everything for us - pack, load, deliver, and set up. They provided white glove service. I would highly recommend “An Easy Move” for any move. Available as reference."

"WOW!!!! Robert & Donald were simply incredible. They were friendly, polite, efficient and FAST!! I gave them directions for the project and they got right to work and completed project quickly. They even did a bit more than was asked...which was so helpful to me as I injured my back in the original move. I cannot say enough about King Kahn. I would use them again and recommend them heartily. Thanks guys!!"

"We moved from Canada to the U.S. as a family, and at first it felt like a lot to take on. The process moved forward steadily, our things were handled carefully, and nothing went missing or got damaged. Everything arrived in Denver when expected. For a move of this size and distance, it stayed manageable and didn?t turn into the chaos we were worried about."

"recently moved from Fort Lauderdale to Dallas, TX, and I had a great experience from start to finish. The team was professional, reliable, and made the entire moving process feel smooth and stress-free. They handled everything with care, communicated well, and made sure my belongings arrived safely. Moving out of state can be overwhelming, but they made it so much easier. I truly appreciate their hard work and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy moving company."

"Moving is always a miserable experience and my expectations are always low when I move. But my experience with Shleppers was top notch. The movers were polite and accommodating. They were very careful packing and handling my furniture. It just goes to show that you get what you pay for!"

"OMG, I just wish I had known about these guys in moving out of one condo and moving into another. They were by far and away so much better than the service from the other two moving companies. If I could give 10 Stars, I would. The arrived on time, assessed the move thoroughly, planned their course of action and were ultra efficient. In other words, they honor their namesake, “Heroic Movers!” They were so polite and professional and truly ROCKED and I totally recommend them. For a guy always striving to do things myself to save a buck, these guys were absolutely worth it. I just wish I had known about them sooner!"

Moving questions, answered by experts

According to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, mobile homes built before 1976 do not meet the current safety standards and shouldn’t be moved even a short distance.

When loading a moving truck, the general rule is to load the heaviest and largest items first to create a stable base at the front of the truck, which helps balance the weight. You can start with large furniture like sofas, beds, mattresses, and tables to form a solid foundation, or begin by placing your heaviest boxes against the truck's walls to create a base layer. After the base is set, continue loading other large items like appliances and square furniture. Lighter and smaller objects, including most of your boxes, should be loaded last. They can be packed into gaps, around, and on top of the heavier items to maximize space. Following this order makes unloading easier and helps prevent damage to your belongings.

Move date means the day that you are relocating your items from one space to another. If you’re renting, your move out date is usually the same as the last day of your lease, but it won’t necessarily be the same as your move-in date to another property.

The best way to transport plants when moving is to prep them properly, cover the soil, pack them tightly in boxes, and take extra precautions depending on state plant regulations, weather, and distance. You should be sure to fill in the gaps around your plants to minimize movement during transit and plan to unpack them shortly after arriving at your destination.

It is helpful for safety reasons to pack knives in their own box and clearly label them. This way, movers can take extra caution when moving these boxes and pack them in the moving truck accordingly. Plus, it will remind you to use extra caution when unpacking that box in your new kitchen.
