Looking for timely electrical needs? Look no further. 7 years in the biz. Very Reliable. I install ceiling fans, coach lights, switches (dimmer, 3 way, single pole, vacancy sensor etc.), receptacles (weatherproof, GFCI, Electric Vehicle, oven, washer/dryer) thermostats, vanity lights, chandeliers, pendants you name it! Currently, I work for an electrical company and my hours are 6-2:30 M-F however, I do a majority of my work after those business hours. I'd love to be of service!

A C-wire is typically blue, but don’t rely on colors to find which wire is which when it comes to thermostat wires. The C-wire may also be black, brown, or purple. Instead, if you’re looking for the C-wire, look at the thermostat panel for a wire connecting to “terminal C,” or call in a pro to help you look for a C-wire.

You don’t need an electrician to change an outlet—but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t hire one. Working with electricity can be dangerous, not only for you but also for your home and the members of your household. There’s the risk of electrocution, poor wiring burnout, and electrical fire. When you hire a licensed electrician, you’ll have peace of mind knowing that your electrical outlets are installed correctly and up to code.

Yes. Even when it’s not in use, an outlet is still connected to wiring, and if the wiring is faulty or wet, a fire can occur. Broken outlets can also cause fires, for the same reasons; in fact, most broken outlets are broken due to damaged or worn-out wiring. It’s worth replacing outlets that are old or damaged with the help of an electrician.

The size of the microwave you choose may change this answer, but for standard over-the-range microwaves, 120 volts and a three-prong grounded outlet is needed for your device.

A two-way switch is also called a single-pole or single-throw switch. These switches only have an on-and-off function and only control a single light or series of lights wired together. A three-way switch has no “on” or "off” position and works with a second switch in the circuit to control a single light or light series from two locations.
