"I called The Painting Company to paint all walls, plus the kitchen cabinets, in a 3 bedroom townhouse we were putting up for sale.  Nile came to the property within a day, provided a very reasonable quote within 24 hours, and had workers available within two days.  He assembled a large crew to finish the job quickly.  They did a fantastic job of removing nails and screws from the walls and patching the holes, removing all electrical outlet and switch plates and preparing the area to ensure no paint ended up on the new hardwood floors.  Nile's team finished the work done in three days with PERFECT results.

"This job was to renovate my home in preparation to sell it in early March. It consisted of a kitchen and 3 bathroom upgrade, flooring and lighting fixture replacement, painting and removal of 3 popcorn ceilings. Beginning the second week of January, the entire job was completed within 6 weeks. When first hired, the principal of Palm Construction carefully tuned in to my specific needs and targeted timeframe, offering succinct suggestions respects colors, style and quality of products used. Specialists in each trade worked cohesively with each other, as well as alongside other contractors that I had personally hired separately for windows and pool replaster. Although I had intended to live in the property during the renovation, I quickly realized that my occupancy was impeding progress, so I made the decision to vacate the premises. This was especially important during the removal of popcorn ceilings which contained asbestos. The work moved seamlessly from the removal of kitchen counters, sink, cabinet doors, appliances and flooring to the demolition of 3 bathrooms. Timely mutual decisions were made about fixtures, mirrors, flooring, sinks, vanities, paint and hardware, allowing the job to progress steadily to reach very precise goals. Along the way, it was determined that the air ducts needed replacing and AC would be a welcome addition to the total job. These issues were discussed and explained clearly and quoted at a reasonable cost - so I decided to add the change orders. Although I had never been involved with a home renovation in the past, I was very impressed with the patience and care taken to communicate with me throughout the entire job. I was a demanding customer with an expectation of perfectionism and Palm Construction was up for the challenge. Beyond the scope of the original job, Palm went above and beyond with finishing touches and little extras here and there. They've come back to help me even after completion of the job, when I needed some additional retrofits for my appliance installation, which was not even part of the original job. I know that I can count on Palm Construction to be responsive and willing for anything that may come up in the future. I learned that they are a GC that you can totally trust and rely on. In summary, I am in awe of the completed work. My friends and neighbors are astonished with the transformation of my home. The end product is flawless and most impressive. My realtor has already offered Palm Construction opportunities for other jobs. My neighbors have asked for their contact information to get quotes. I asked to get a quote for my ceiling and, I thought oddly, was given one over the phone. I've never had anyone quote a job without seeing and measuring the scope of work.
The quote was much higher than I expected given the price quotes that I had seen from reviews here. For example one from late last year was less than $1.00/sq foot and I was quoted over 2x that much. Maybe prices *have* gone up that much, but between the expense and not actually seeing the job site... I'm going to look elsewhere.
