"Started fast. Got the quote one day and work was started the next day.My wife and I removed items that were hanging in the way. Herb did the pressure washing as soon as everything was clear. He asked for help when it was time to replace the 2 x 6's for the eve. Then he did the prep work and did the painting. When the painting was completed my wife and I looked over everything and found a few areas that needed touch up. He took care of everything. My wife and I did cleanup from paint spills but were still happy with the price and the new look. The job started on 5/7/13 and was completed on 5/15/13. We are happy with the work that was done.

06/09/13 Less than 1 month after having our house painted we noticed bubbles under the new paint on our railing and noticed some areas that weren't painted at all. We contacted Herb Thalen of Thalen Painting and brought it to his attention. We were told that when the weather changes in a month the bubbles should disappear. I told Herb the bubbles were sealed air pockets due to the paint not bonding to the rail. I was told he couldn't com and correct the problem for a month because he is busy now.

All light fixtures are covered. They have now painted my entire house although this time it was two large bathrooms and the master bedroom. The did an amazing job. "The technician emptied the freezer, which was in the basement, to work on the part that needed repair. Then he neglected to put anything back into the freezer, including a turkey I had bought for Christmas and a rack of ribs. Two days after he left, I went out of town for two weeks. The turkey actually exploded and spewed its liquid all over everything, which had to be discarded. I let AHS know and they couldn't even bother to call me or follow up on this. I'm considering not renewing my contract with them because of the quality (or lack thereof) of many of the providers they send."
