"Started fast. Got the quote one day and work was started the next day.My wife and I removed items that were hanging in the way. Herb did the pressure washing as soon as everything was clear. He asked for help when it was time to replace the 2 x 6's for the eve. Then he did the prep work and did the painting. When the painting was completed my wife and I looked over everything and found a few areas that needed touch up. He took care of everything. My wife and I did cleanup from paint spills but were still happy with the price and the new look. The job started on 5/7/13 and was completed on 5/15/13. We are happy with the work that was done.

06/09/13 Less than 1 month after having our house painted we noticed bubbles under the new paint on our railing and noticed some areas that weren't painted at all. We contacted Herb Thalen of Thalen Painting and brought it to his attention. We were told that when the weather changes in a month the bubbles should disappear. I told Herb the bubbles were sealed air pockets due to the paint not bonding to the rail. I was told he couldn't com and correct the problem for a month because he is busy now.

"Scheduled estimate appointment for 11:00 A.M. Received call to request earlier time which was fine. Erik and Daniel arrived a little early for the earlier appointment. Erik explained what the work would entail. The price seemed reasonable. When asked if we could start right away or the next day, I said let's do it now, Two hours later carpet was up, dryers in place and running. Erik committed to returning in two days to make sure it was dry and ready to reoccupy. Two days later Daniel called at 8:30 A.M. to let us know they were 10 minutes out. They checked the progress, found it was dry and ready to reoccupy. The furniture was returned to our complete satisfaction, the paperwork completed including the discount, and they left. Erik and Daniel turned a potential disaster into something with which we can go forward. Simply stated, they did an Outstanding professional job.

"I had use this co once before. They are absolutely the best. They cover every surface that is not suppose to be painted. Furniture that is left in the room is completely sealed. All light fixtures are covered. They have now painted my entire house although this time it was two large bathrooms and the master bedroom. The did an amazing job. You can barely tell where I had light boxes. It took one day to cover and mask everything and a day and a half to paint. The crew is quiet and respectful. R Belasco, the owner is such a gentlemen. He was so accommodating to what I wanted. I would not hesitate to hire him again."

"I liked that they were on time, clean and fast. They did quality work. I went on Angie’s List to check their reviews. I would recommend them for anything. I am going to save up money and get my second bathroom and kitchen done by them. They are even going to put my windows in because they have people who can do windows. That’s how good they are. They know everybody. In fact their price was very competitive. I was going to do a demonstration myself. I thought it was going to be a huge amount that I was going to save. He told it’s going to take me 2 days to do it and he could do it in half an hour. It was worth it for me to go and get it done right the first time. I was going to have him redo the cabinets. He told there was nothing wrong with the cabinets. He did recommend someone he knew who could come and stand them down and re-stain them; put new hardware on it if I wanted to. It would be a fraction of the cost then what it would take to replace. He wasn’t out to fill his wallet up by me. He told this is what I need and that’s the best way to do it. They will be the only ones I will use in the future. It was a very positive experience and this guy was absolutely the best."

"The technician emptied the freezer, which was in the basement, to work on the part that needed repair. Then he neglected to put anything back into the freezer, including a turkey I had bought for Christmas and a rack of ribs. Two days after he left, I went out of town for two weeks. The turkey actually exploded and spewed its liquid all over everything, which had to be discarded. I let AHS know and they couldn't even bother to call me or follow up on this. I'm considering not renewing my contract with them because of the quality (or lack thereof) of many of the providers they send."
