"Pete was very good fixing the problem. The pull chain broke off inside the unit. I took it apart and tried to fix it myself, but was not able to get to the unit with the chain....so much for being a home mechanic! Pete made one short stop here to get the unit apart. He didn't have a replacement part with him, and to save time I went to Fan Diego store for the replacement, and he installed it on another visit a few days later. Problem solved. He is very friendly and worked well. I am having him back soon to repair another ceiling fan that has quit working.

He examined the attic, said I had insulation, but offered to replace it for newer, better at the cost of several thousand dollars. I already knew the insulation wasn't new. Again I could have misunderstood what the deal was for, but I wouldn't do it again.
