Our kitchen was about 15 years old and the cabinets were still solid but looked outdated, so we decided to go with cabinet refacing instead of a full remodel. They showed us different cabinet door styles and finishes and helped us pick something that would brighten up the kitchen without going over our budget. "Mike was on time and quick on the draw for starting projects. We used him to finish the kitchen for us. I want to say that when he came in, our house was a disaster due to a plumbing leak in which insurance was working on with their contractor. Mike didn’t skip a beat, worked around everything and did a fantastic job on the backsplash and the can lights. I feel a little bad because I’m fairly talkative and I found several other projects for him after we decided we were listing the house. His work has been outstanding on every project so far and can tackle many jobs. He’s is about to start painting our house this week and has fixed several issues in the meantime. "We hired Sylvain and Marquis Assoc. To build a separate and detached Granny Flat on our property. He and his team built a 1200 sq. ft fully functioning 3 bedroom 2 full baths HOME. From start to finish Sylvain was personally involved and extremely professional. He and his team were on the job site on time everyday early to dusk. They worked hard and fast. Every night the job site was left clean. As soon as the city approved the plans, we were building the next day. It was incredible how efficient the guys were in building, total build time was less than 3 months. Craftsmanship was top-notch, and we feel we truly built a great house. He was focused on making sure we chose all of our counters/ cabinets/ doors/ windows/ molding/ everything that we wanted and stayed on budget. All done, Sylvain did not go over budget. His estimates were right on to what final costs came out to be. He kept us updated constantly regarding budget and where we stood in the process. We had changes along the way, and he treated all problems with calmness and found solutions to all issues. He is well seasoned and we trusted him completely. Our house is incredible, we are so happy. I also feel I need to mention how much our neighbors love the new house. They walked by during their daily walks every day during construction.
