"Thanks again for the opportunity to explain how the process works. (I have an attachment copied below) 3-23-24 you sign a pre-inspection agreement for my standard procedures, costs, etc.. at the agreed amount of $400, I perform the inspection, write the report, give you the invoice, you paid the invoice at the $400. Fast forward 6 weeks, you reach out to hire me again, same building different unit, "cool I'll be right over" I get to the inspection spend two hours with you on-site at any point you could have asked me. I ask if you're going to pay me via zelle as I needed to get from DTLA to Riverside for another inspection. He says yes and we part ways. He later texts about the $300 for this inspection, at this point I agree and give the 100 off. After I inspected the property, wrote the report, waited 48hrs for payment on this inspection he says he also wants 100 off from the inspection 6 weeks ago that he signed and payed for. He goes on saying he refuses to pay me for this current inspection unless... I SAY AGAIN MIKE, THIS IS NOT COOL WITH ME! You absolutely cannot have an inspection and expect a refund 6 weeks later, especially one that you signed a contract for. You brought me out under false pretenses and SHOULD HAVE BROUGHT IT UP IN PERSON ON-SITE. You had a plan, and I caught on. Thanks for your payment btw!"
