Small jobs welcome

"I found Trash B Gone on Angi and couldn’t be happier that I did. Joe and JC were wonderful to deal with. I got an immediate response from Joe and was able to schedule a pickup for the same day. JC came to my house and was incredibly nice and efficient. Their rate was extremely reasonable and the overall experience was better than I could have hoped for. I would gladly recommend them to anyone who needed trash hauled away or a dumpster rental. They clearly care about doing a good job and creating a relationship with their patrons. Thank you Joe and JC for doing such a great job!"

I own and operate a dumpster rental service that currently provides 17 Yard Dumpsters, and will soon provide 40 Yard Dumpsters and 10 Yard Dumpsters (lowboys) by the end of 2025. I also offer junk removal for property clean outs if you'd like us to handle the labor. Tree removal is another included service we offer.\n\nThis business was created in order to help a non-profit organization (Water Drop LA). A portion of all proceeds go towards helping the organization continue its operation.

Dumpster Service questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can put tree branches in a dumpster. In most places, tree branches, brush, logs, and other wood are considered yard waste, which is allowed in most dumpsters. Check with your local municipal authority to determine whether there are any rules about yard waste disposal and how much yard waste you can place in a single dumpster.

Unless you plan to use a dump trailer for business purposes, it will be hard to justify the cost of buying one. Even a small, used 6-by-10-foot model could set you back as much as $5,000, and larger, high-quality models can cost up to $15,000 to buy brand-new.

Since roll-off dumpsters are usually for one-time jobs, you’ll probably want to rent one. However, you can always purchase a dumpster in the future if you believe you’ll use it frequently and have the space to store it.

Composting can be a great alternative if you’re looking for a way to dispose of food scraps without a garbage disposal. If you have the space in your yard, you can install a compost bin or compost pile and add food waste. After enough time and heat, the compost will break down and can be used to mulch your garden.

If you don’t have space for compost, consider city-run programs or local companies that will pick up your food waste.

Choosing a junk disposal method begins with considering what kind of junk you’re getting rid of. If it’s hazardous waste, you’ll be more limited in your options and will either need to haul it to a dedicated disposal facility yourself or find a junk removal company that works with hazardous materials. If it’s general waste and mostly consists of small items, renting a dumpster is a great way to save money if you and some friends can move the junk into the dumpster yourselves. To save time and energy, though, hiring a junk hauler is the best option.
