"It went "GREAT". They were proficient, professional, and polite. They answered questioned and let us know what they were doing as they worked. They told us it would be two days to complete the work and in two days the work was completed. They came back after 48 hours to make sure everything had settled and to see if there was any other questions or anything else we needed. Thank you PaverPros."

"I went with Shai and Barak Builders on a full remodel of my home. I hired this contractor because they gave me the best quality-price ratio and they are very reliable. Shai and his team showed up on time. They worked hard from first day to end of the project so project was finished ahead of schedule. The results are amazing, excellent quality of work and materials they used. And my home looks so beautiful and modern! I can't recommend Barak Builders enough, they are very trustworthy!"

"We loved working with Repair and Remodel Experts. They were
professional, polite, accommodating and stayed on task. They met our
deadline and the work they did was fantastic. Being a church, we
appreciated their work ethic and the demeanor of their crew. We didn't
have to worry that we would have visitors who might hear inappropriate
behavior or language coming from the construction area (which was right
next to our current office space.

"Originally they were very good they just never come back and taken care of any of the other work, they were good at the very beginning, they were on top of every thing at the very beginning but after they did the initial work and they needed to come back an did touch ups they never come back and done anything more, I can't get them to come back and do anything more.

They are way over priced compare to what they should be and I didn't realize it at the time but when I found out afterwards it was too late."

Fireplaces questions, answered by experts

With a little ingenuity, an old fireplace insert can be transformed into a decorative centerpiece that infuses new life into any room. Consider placing LED lights or candles inside to create a captivating display that simulates the warm glow of a fire. Another option is to repurpose the insert as a charming bookshelf by adding rustic shelves within the firebox. For plant lovers, converting the fireplace insert into an indoor garden is a perfect way to bring nature indoors. You can also transform it into a stylish wine rack.

Both vented and ventless gas fireplaces have pros and cons, and the best choice depends on your needs and preferences. A ventless fireplace may be a good option if you do not have a chimney, but you should check local regulations as they are banned in some areas, such as California. On the other hand, if anyone in your household has allergies, asthma, or other respiratory sensitivities, a vented fireplace is a better choice for health and air quality.

Installing a fireplace outside could be more affordable, but that depends on several factors. If you’re only considering an outdoor fireplace to save on installation costs, you may be surprised once you start receiving quotes. On average, an outdoor fireplace costs around $3,000 to install, but the price can vary significantly depending on how ambitious your outdoor design plans are.

If you have a gas fireplace, you should be able to see a vent exiting the fireplace directly to the outside of your home. You may also see gas lines leading to the fireplace. If the firebox in the fireplace is completely empty, it’s a wood-burning fireplace. There should be no burners or igniters in the fireplace.

In some aspects, yes, new wood stoves are better than old ones. For example, today’s EPA emission limits for wood-burning stoves are much lower than they were several decades ago. Stoves that meet these stricter standards produce less air pollution, reduce fire risks, and decrease your risk of inhaling harmful particles.
