"We suffered water damage to the hickory floor in our home after the storms of January & February 2023. We contacted Clark’s Hardwood Floors, Inc. for help. We were very happy with Clark’s through all phases of refinishing, from the initial estimate through job completion. Their estimate was significantly lower than a competitor’s bid, their office staff was delightful to deal with, and their refinishing crew was superb. Our refinishing crew was Jorge (lead) and Nidiro. Jorge let us know exactly what to expect and when, which helped us plan our own activities around the job. They used the “atomic dust-free system” to sand off the old finish. It really was dust free! They were thorough and meticulous in everything they did. And, although the old finish was removed completely along baseboards and in every nook and cranny, our baseboards were not even nicked! Every flaw in the floor was meticulously addressed. These guys were excellent craftsmen! Because we had had issues in front of the kitchen sink, at Larry Moreno’s suggestion the new finish was completed with Traffic Commercial Grade polyurethane. The result was stunning! Our hickory floor looks better than ever before! We are thrilled with the results! All our interactions with Clark’s have been excellent! We recommend them highly!"

The floor is a specialized type, tongue in groove oak planks with a custom surface treatment. Alameda was the ONLY contractor that understood how to repair the half of the floor that was damaged so it would match the other half, and the rest of the house. The other contractors did not, could not guarantee a match. They just wanted to replace the whole living room with something that would NOT match the rest of my house. My floor looks beautiful now. It was done on time, and for the price that I was originally quoted. I can't say enough nice things about Alameda Hardwood Floors.
