"From start to finish, Enrique was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I've never felt better about investing in my home. Our front porch steps were severely in need of repair. The flagstone was falling off the frame and became a hazard for our family and others visiting our home. We had struggled to find others who could meet our budget or were comfortable taking the job. However, Enrique assured us this was well within his skill and experience and that we would be happy with the results. He could not have been more right! Enrique removed the old flagstone, added additional support for the existing frame, and installed beautiful new steps using Trex decking material. He even included exterior lighting! "Bernardo & his team did an outstanding job, designing, building & installing a custom combo metal frame & cedar wood 10’x8’ double wide gate. In addition, they did some other fence repair. Bernardo had great ideas about the style & look. I listened & couldn’t be happier. His pricing was in line with 6 other bids. I selected Bernardo because he offered ideas as opposed to just saying “oh that’s going to cost you more money”. I actually got a custom gate compared to others so in reality, his pricing was the best considering it was more than a rectangular design as others quoted. I highly recommend Bernardo’s fencing. If I had anything to pick at, the clean up could have been a little better. I did do some sweeping up afterwards but that’s all I can think of as a nitpick."

Both tend to be made from heavy-duty metal and may include glass panels to allow light to enter the home. There are a few possible issues that are causing your gate to sage. The hinges may be bent, or the screws holding the hinges to the post could fail—causing the gate to sag from one side to the other. The post holding the gate aloft may lean inward, causing the gate to sag.

Double gates come with the same gaps as single gates, with hinges taking up a quarter of an inch of space. The difference is that double fence gates also have a center gap, which needs a little more clearance. Space the center gap at half an inch instead of the usual three-eighths of an inch for a single gate. 

Thieves can open almost anything with enough time and the right tools, but they also prefer easy targets that are unlikely to get them caught. Forcing open gates is loud and difficult, and to be able to open one electronically requires extensive knowledge of the system, which most thieves don't have. Electric and other security gates are great deterrents because the thief will move to an easier target. If the thief is determined to enter your property, they will most likely find a different entrance point.
