"They did a great job and I would recommend them. They wore protective gear and had to come back out to troubleshoot the gas valve and now it's working perfectly. The owner of the company also called me to make sure everything was working properly. He gave me a good price."

"Called within an hour of asking for a quote and were willing to come at 8am on a Saturday! They arrived on time, took a look at the issue, went out and bought the piece they needed and came straight back and replaced it in less than an hour! Very professional, and they did a great job! Will definitely keep them in mind if we have another plumbing issue in the future!"

"My project started with needing to have a septic tank pumped. The pumper recommended I have bigger risers installed as he was unable to do a good job and get into the corners with the 6 inch risers that were installed. The pumper attempted to do a clean out and noticed the water not moving well so he recommended I hire a Plumber. I hired a plumber to water jet and camera the line to determine that the line had collapsed. In hindsight, I wish I would’ve found Naylor at this stage as I was overcharged by the company I hired. I made several phone calls and found Naylor plumbing to be the most informative, fair priced, and the quality of work was great. They got in and did the excavating, repaired the collapsed line, excavated the two risers, replaced them with 24 inch risers, all within one day. I will be hiring them again for my plumbing needs."

"We needed to make repairs to a fireplace that we had never used, as we prepared our home to become a rental propery. Rich came in with a fair and reasonable bid that included all needed repairs and new custom glass doors and gas log set. All was done in a timely manner with great care. Highly recommended! Thanks Rich!!

Gas Logs questions, answered by experts

No. Placing a built-in grill against the house is discouraged due to safety concerns. Building codes and regulations often require a minimum distance (typically 10 feet or more) between a gas grill and any combustible structure, including a house. Placing a grill too close poses a fire hazard and risks damage to the siding or structure, potentially leading to carbon monoxide buildup. It's essential to consult local building codes, follow manufacturer guidelines, and prioritize safety by positioning the grill at a safe distance, ideally in a well-ventilated outdoor kitchen or designated grill area.

Gas grill installation costs around $540 on average, not including the price of the actual grill, and most homeowners pay between $120 and $1,400. This total will go toward laying down a new gas line, connecting it to your existing gas system, pressure testing the line, and connecting it to your grill. Your total project price will depend on the length of the gas line, whether or not the line needs to be installed underground, and the cost of the permits in your area.

The cost of a gas grill burner ranges from $10 to $100 or more, depending on the brand. If you’re replacing one burner, consider replacing all the burners simultaneously. Although it will cost more upfront, it will save you the hassle of replacing a burner every few months, and your grill will cook more evenly and efficiently.

The difference between a built-in and regular grill is installation and design. A built-in grill is integrated into an outdoor kitchen or structure, often within a countertop or island. It is a permanent fixture. A regular grill is standalone, portable, or cart-mounted, allowing mobility and versatility in placement. Built-in grills are typically larger with more cooking space, while regular grills come in various sizes. Built-in grills are favored for creating a custom outdoor cooking area, while regular grills provide convenience and flexibility.

The most significant benefit of having a gas grill over a propane grill is that you never run out of fuel unless there’s an outage in your area, which is rare. Unlike with a propane grill, you’ll never need to haul tanks back and forth to a local fill station, and you’ll never find yourself unable to use your grill because you forgot to refill your tanks. Gas grills also burn slightly cleaner than propane grills, and natural gas costs significantly less than propane, meaning it’s more affordable to run your grill.
