We also discussed uneven AC flow thru vents and he said that adjustments are possible and would advise and suggest via E-Mail. AC unit is on roof of second story and will no doubt need routine inspection in the near future.

"it was one of those busy hot days when this customer called . We gave him an appointment knowing that it was on oxnard city and it was an opposite site off the rout. Technician has called the customer and talked and came to an agreement of doing the service on another day since it was only for heater . Customer has agreed and said that he will call and make an appointment. Technician has called couple of time to make an appointment but it was no luck because customer said that he will call and make an appointment. Long story short customer called asking the receptionist that he doesn't want to make and appointment he will call to the angies list and get his money back for purchasing the deals. Receptionist nicely said that instead of canceling the deal let me make an appointment so he will be there since we were slow. Customer agreed. Technician arrived to customers house and his/her mother was there. Customer was present only over the phone. Technician inspected system completely and noticed that system does not have an a/c system installed . Technician recommended and offered to give them an estimate but customer has refused he said that he doesn't need an a/c system cause summer time its cooler there. After complete inspection technician wrote everything down on an invoice and handed to his/her mother, since customer didn't wanted to spend on anything else. technician handed the invoice to his/her mother and have her signed. Honestly when they say that no communications that was a lie. There is a communications with each and every single coustomer there would no way that we would do a work or anythingthing without talking and confronting with coustomers."
Once we decided to move forward, Yurik?s team was on site on time and ready to work every day. Each day they draped the floors to keep the mess down, and were very good about picking up after themselves.
Hi team was very efficient, and was able to get the job done in half the estimated time. All the new ducts are sealed nicely, and each register is clean.
Yurik?s team also installed dampers in each of the ducts, to help regulate the air flow to the new portion of the house and the original and they took the time to properly calibrate the dampers so that each room is nicely balanced. The whole house now benefits from central heat nicely (we tested the AC, but as it?s winter we won?t have a solid test for a few months).
One thing to note is that they are definitely quicker to respond to phone/voicemails rather then email. Not a horrible problem, but if you want a quicker response that?s the way to get it.
I would definitely recommend UMC for AC work, and we?ll be using them to service the equipment in the future.
