"Champs Handy Worx redid my bathroom: changing the bathtub enclosure to a shower stall, installing a vanity with new faucet and switching out a the toilet and lighting. He removed all old bathtub/vanity/toilet from the property. Aside from removing the old and replacing them with new, he helped me select the new shower stall with shower head, dual flush toilet and vanity with faucet. Then he plastered and repaired the walls and topped it off with fresh paint and lighting. He set a goal of completing the project in 5 days and completed it in a timely manner. Champs Handy Worx was professional,worked efficiently, kept the workspace clean and tidy, and kept a sense of humor. I highly recommend Champs Handy Worx. If you have to hold the toilet handle (also called the toilet lever) down to flush, you probably have a chain problem. A chain that cannot fully lift the flapper will close too early and not clear the toilet bowl. Try adjusting the chain length so there’s about ½ inch of slack.   

If a bolt at the bottom of your toilet tank is loose, it can directly cause a leak. The order of your bathroom renovation should prevent damage to the completed work. Start with demolition and removing the old fixtures. Then, address structural repairs or water damage, if needed. Next, tackle the rough-in phase for plumbing and electrical work, install waterproofing, and work on wall treatments like tile or paint. Install your shower or bathtub, toilet, vanity, and sink. Flooring goes in after major fixtures but before the toilet. Lastly, install new lighting fixtures, mirrors, and other finishing touches as desired.

If you notice water leaking down the side of the bowl or tank and you don’t notice any cracks in the porcelain, the odds are that it’s condensation. If you notice water around the base of the toilet, this points to a leak. Check for loose bolts. A sewage odor may also indicate a broken toilet flange.
