"I was referred to 800 Remodeling by Angie's List, and the owner, Amir, called me literally minutes after I received the referral. I described my situation to him and we scheduled a meeting at my home for the following day. He arrived promptly and immediately introduced himself with a picture ID and his state contractor's license. After inspecting the cracks that were of concern to me in a structural post supporting a major beam, he took some pictures and promised to get back to me with some recommendations. The next day, he called just as he had promised, told me that after talking with a structural specialist he did not believe the post needed to be replaced, but nevertheless gave me a rough-order-of-magnitude estimate on what a replacement would cost, should I decide to have that done. After some additional research, I concluded that the cracks are typical and not impairing the structural integrity of the post, and decided for added insurance simply to reinforce the post with some wrap-around steel bands. Since that is a small and simple job, Amir offered to refer me to someone else to do that job for me. He did not charge me for the consultation or the time he spent in discussions with other specialists. So although I ultimately didn't hire him for this job, I was impressed by his professionalism and shall definitely be contacting him again for some larger jobs I am planning in the future."

"Due to a leak, there was a lot more to the demo and prep work for our new shower installation. 5 Star pulled it off with no additional out of scope costs or change orders for the new specs after demo and rebuild."

"Always a smooth transaction and wonderful service. We’ve used ranch hands for moving as well as larger construction projects. Highly recommend!! All of the team is kind, skilled and dependable. Thanks guys!"

"Dave did a great job for a fair price. He got to my house quickly and completed the job quickly as well. I would highly recommend him for any plumbing job."

"Very good customer service. When we had a concern or thought we saw a problem, they addressed it promptly, even if it took more than one attempt to get it right. We appreciated their commitment to customer satisfaction. Our kitchen remodel turned out wonderfully and they got it done in the estimated time. Their design ideas were very helpful, as well. Thanks, Sean, for helping us see the potential in the space we had and for helping design a floor plan that really works well for us. And Natalie's suggestions for flooring, paint colors, tile, etc. were SO helpful."

"Sean and Kathy Guzman of San Andres Hardware came to my house today and installed a cabinet to put my modems and CPU in. Not only did they install the cabinet but they re-hooked up all the cables once they did. I was so glad they came. In addition to the cabinet I had them install a towel bar. They were on time, very professional, personable & knowledgeable and I DEFINITELY will call them for additional things I need done. I HIGHLY recommend them..... :-) If I could show you a before and after picture I would. BIG difference."
