    Really well. Two intense days of tree branch pruning to lift the branches off the ground to have clearance around the large oak trees and clear out large amounts of dead brush and debris that had accumulated over the years. The 45 degree slope was easily accessible after the pruning and removal of dead wood and brush that had not been cleared out, or irrigated, in years. Daniel Norton knew what he was doing and he and his associate spent two days getting things thinned out and making the surrounding terrain more manageable but also attractive and park-like. It was tough work and the steep slope was difficult to work on. We live in a higher risk area with the possibility of fire always present. Clearing all this out was difficult but his game plan and execution was really good. He is very knowledgeable and thorough

    Haven't had much luck with tree trimmers until I found Ortega Jr. Tree Service. Tried them last October and they did an outstanding job. Had no hesitation hiring them again today. Fair price for trimming 5 tall palm trees. Crew of 5 with 2 trucks and a chipper arrived 15 minutes early, trimmed all trees within 45 minutes, disposed of all leaves in a chipper, picked up all small leftover pieces, and blew off the driveway. Lead man conferred with me before they started to ensure they'd do the job to my liking. They were professional, courteous, very prompt and left the yard in the same condition as before. Called them Thursday, did the job the next morning. No mess, no confusion just great performance at a fair price

    The project manager arrived at 7:30 a.m. to go over the job with my husband. Fifteen minutes later five guys showed up and trimmed and cut 7 large trees for the next 6 hours. They did a beautiful job. I would definitely hire them again. They were very reasonable. They had to enter my neighbor's yard and even my they were impressed with their crew

    Andre fully appreciated the scope of this job; he remained and worked with his crew throughout the three-day job and actually used two crews: seven men plus two grinders and a crane operator. It was amazing to watch this crew at work in the trees and on the house. At the end, there was absolutely no damage to our roof, and the crew cleaned up completely. The service included testing all the sprinklers and full repair to any broken sprinkler heads as well as seeding/fertilizing any lawn patches affected by the massive logs sitting on them during the removal process; this was done without us even requesting it. The stumps were ground to below ground level to allow for future planting. When Andre noticed that the grinding was not as deep as he knew we wanted it to be, he re-called his grinders before we ever knew there was a problem. Andre and his crew worked during a period of extreme heat, yet remained friendly and gave full effort throughout. His bid for this job was not the lowest; however we were impressed with his experience and ratings, which were well deserved. Andre even repaired a sprinkler valve totally unrelated to the tree removal because he had the part needed and "didn't want me to have to worry about it". We are so pleased that we chose Andre for this job
