Rick had a cancellation and his wife was able to change our appointment to an earlier date. Rick was very neat and clean and repaired a part of our chimney that needed mending. We asked about our dryer vent, he checked it out and told us how easy it was to clean, since the hose was very short, and it was best just to replace it and gave us other hints at no extra charge. I highly recommend Swede's Chimney Sweep. All was well until he left with a physical problem and never returned. I was left to find other contractors to finish what he started. When it was time to do the finish work on the house, putting in lights, putting in doors, putting in the soffits around the eaves THAT IS WHEN IT ALL FELL APART. All the doors in the house had to be fired in, (he made the openings for custom doors which I didn't request) I had to pay $700.00 for electricians to come in to find the problem -- He used a power drill to tighten the romex which caused short in 7 outlets. The 2nd bathroom door opens into and hits the toilet. The framing is so un square that each contractor that has come to work is so frustrated AND I HAVE TO PAY THEM TO FIX THE PROBLEM. Both Anderson sliding glass door leaked all winter, I had to put plywood over each one to keep the water out of the inside of my house. Both sliders had to be taken out and reinstalled, along with paying for the tech to come out here, $150.00. I'm sure the list will grow as I continue to get work done on my house. I tried to call him as the problems came up, he never answered the calls or texts. It was finally a mistake on his part that he answered my phone call and then questioned my charges. Another neighbor that hired him was left with 6.5 foot ceilings due to David Storks mistake.--I didn't find this out till after. If he had answered my calls and tried to make good I would not be writing this right now--but he didn't. DO NOT HIRE HIM---HE IS A DISASTER, HIS FRAMING IS WRONG, AND HE DOES NOT BACK HIS WORK UP. DAVID STORK IS POOR QUALITY. PERIOD."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/or/dallas/david-stork-house-plans-reviews-495109.htm"},"position":8}]}

It went well and quick. There was some minor damage and they documented and repaired that damage the following week. They even removed the old roof unit and hired a sub to patch the roof.

FAQs for basement leak repair projects in Montague, CA
The cost to finish a basement is $18,400 for the average homeowner. However, this cost could be as little as $2,800 or as much as $34,500, depending on the basement size and the materials needed. If your basement is already outfitted with electrical and plumbing, expect the cost to fall on the lower end.
For example, the drywall cost for this project averages around $1,750, but other features, like hiring a plumber, cost between $45 and $200 per hour.
The cost to remodel a basement is between $12,100 and $33,400 for the average homeowner. The price you pay can be as little as $3,500 or as much as $50,200, depending on the size and condition of your basement and the type of remodel you're doing.
If you're doing a simple project like adding a home office to your basement, you can expect to pay anywhere from $500 to $3,000. However, if you're adding a bathroom, which is an extensive project, you can expect to pay between $6,600 to $16,500.
Damp proofing and waterproofing are both methods to help keep your basement dry. Damp proofing keeps soil moisture from entering your basement, which is helpful since your basement is underground. Waterproofing, however, keeps both soil moisture and liquid water out of the basement, which is essential, especially if you live in a wet environment. Because it’s more protective, waterproofing typically costs more than damp proofing.
Although homeowners often use the terms basement remodeling and basement finishing interchangeably, they are quite different terms.
Finishing a basement is the process of taking a basement space that is not habitable and adding elements to make it usable. This includes adding plumbing, flooring, and insulation.
Remodeling a basement means taking an already existing finished basement and changing it, often by adding or removing walls, adding plumbing, or changing the existing flooring.
The cost of basement waterproofing is $4,950 for the average homeowner. However, you could end up paying between $600 and $14,000, depending on factors like basement size, waterproofing method, and the region you live in.
If you live in an area with heavy rainfall, you might be paying more for waterproofing than if you lived somewhere drier since waterproofing contractors would be in high demand. Likewise, a 500-foot basement costs between $2,500and $5,000 to waterproof, but that price rises significantly for a larger basement.
