I first used Giombetti about 8 years ago when I bought my current house which is close to 100 years old, and I needed to have the knob and tube wiring abated. They were consummate professionals that worked efficiently, and I've used them since then for various projects, but I never left a comment. I just hired them, again, to install a transfer switch, so that when the power goes out, we can safely attach a generator. They installed it quickly, and it has performed flawlessly. They are friendly, knowledgeable, prompt, and efficient. They enjoyed hearing and answering all of my questions, and I truly enjoy having them do my electrical work. I recommend them, and I plan to hire them whenever I need electrical work.

Unfortunately it was on the weekend, so I had no choice but to find someone who could be available to work with national grid. Someone came from this company, but didn't do anything except watch the national grid team do all the work. Only when I walked over he started to pick a shovel and pretend that he was working, When he realized that this was a vehicle collision that caused the damage, he gave me a very inflated price for the work, infarct he even made a remark that why do you care what the price is the insurance company will pay for it. He ended up charging me $1396.37 for a few hours of work, when I informed him that I did not received full payment from the insurance company, and asked them if they could re-evaluate the price, they did not accept that option, instead they took me to a small claims court. When i checked on their work the following day, there was loose wires, and parts left behind in my yard. I found this company to be entrusting, unethical and their workmanship very average. I would avoid doing business with this company in the future, hopefully you will as well. Best Regards

The switch on my very old range hood was broken. I asked for an estimate on replacing the switch, and Giombetti advised me to replace the whole range hood. I bought a very good one online, and it was not expensive. They installed it in under an hour and disposed of the old hood for me. The new hood looks and works great.

Excellent company.  Professionals, all the way.  They did a commercial renovation with my company which was done very well.  They also were prompt with service calls and thorough with their work.  They were even used by several employees for personal/residential work and the feedback was outstanding, all the time.  I absolutely recommend them.

I called in to Giombetti to ask for a bid to upgrade my electrical service and first left a message(with some details) with the receptionist.  A salesperson called me back relatively quickly and quoted a price of $2100 over the phone, but said the would need to come out tot he house to confirm the difficulty of the work.  We scheduled a time within the next week and was pleasantly surprised - they actually dropped the price by $150 after seeing it.

I was so happy - because even at $2100 - they would have been the best choice.  As I recall, my other quotes ranged from about $2500-$3500. 

The guys showed up, as promised, at 7:30am and began working right away....they stayed until about 6pm when they finished. 

They disconnected and removed the 100amp service, including the breaker box, the meter box and the line up to the line coming in off of the street.  Then installed a new 200amp box, meter box (reusing the old meter) and installed plastic (2" or so) conduit to run the electric up to the line from the pole.  Then they installed a couple of rods into the ground outside that was apparently part of the ground.  They ran another ground wire to the incoming water line as well.

They left the basement cleaner than they found it.

I would highly recommend them.

Steve was very prompt in coming by to provide a free estimate for the work done, and even fixed the electrical ground for me free of charge during the estimate.  He then came back a second time when I decided to add a few items to the work to give me a more accurate estimate.  He sent a team of 2 electricians (one clearly the lead electrician and another who put in the GFCI outlets) who were efficient, courteous, and cleaned up fairly well.  The lead electrician was very knowledgeable and able to answer a few questions I had during the process.  The only issue was that they did not have enough spackle to fully seal a couple of holes that needed to be put in the walls for the smoke detector, but that is a minor non-electrical issue.  Their pricing seemed fair and they were able to schedule the job on very short notice.  Overall very pleased with the work and would hire again.

They sent manager to do estimate and price was lower than other bids by 12%.
He explained clearly what had to be done and why.
As scheduled, two very pleasant experienced men came to do the work which took 2 Days.
They cleaned up afterward. Inspection went off w/o a hitch.
