His experience in design suggested minor adjustment of my idea/drawings but willing to landscape any way of my preferences. His contract was thoroughly itemized and didn’t add any additional “surprise” costs. Payments were installments as project progressed. Hardworking Crew stayed on expected timeline. Hutch came by every day to supervise progress of our landscaping. Our front and backyards were transformed from weed fields into beautiful landscaping. Removed weeds and unwanted plants, prepped surface, laid weed barrier and installed Artificial turf in backyard, laid pavers and stone walkway. Transformed front yard into rock riverbed surrounded by plants accented with boulders, and installing drip system. Planted border shrubs and a rose garden. Lined walkway and rose garden with pavers matching our flagstone. Our sewer line needed realignment which Hutch arranged to be repaired. Other company estimate quotes were either vague, didn’t itemize, or way over priced. Khalil was an outstanding project manager - always communicating what was going to get done by when and they moved very quickly. Khalil was not going to be happy unless we were thrilled and he delivered! Khalil also had to contend with a simultaneous project that we had going on in the same space of an ADU renovation - and he was very accommodating and communicative during the process to help it all go smoothly. The guys doing the masonry work were fantastic - taking the care to do perfect work on a project that required laying a lot of stone tile on the patio and around the pool. We had originally worked with two other contractors and our city for 15 months and all we had to show for the time and money spent was a huge hole and an even bigger pile of dirt in our backyard. When Ovi, the Creative Home Remodeling Project Manager, answered our call for an estimate, he was not only professional and knowledgeable, but also compassionate about all we had been through. He gave us a fair estimate to complete the job, but also his word that they would not give up until the job was complete and we were fully satisfied. Working with our city was very challenging, but they never gave up, meeting every requirement to gain approval and keeping us informed every step of the way. When we finally obtained approval, they immediately got to work, and the job was completed within a couple of weeks. Then they finished the job with lovely pavers and grass sod, so that our backyard was once again lovely, and finished just in time for our family’s Easter celebration.
