DaBella is the leading home improvement company in the United States. With more than 23 offices throughout the United States, we're striving to transform home improvement services. We work with you to create value in your home by providing outstanding service and premium products for roofing, siding, windows, and bath replacement systems. Since 2011, DaBella has grown to become one of the largest home improvement services companies in the United States. "Our core purpose is to care for families and their homes. We strive to provide the best customer experience and the best environment for our growing workforce," said CEO, Donnie McMillan, Jr. "The explosive growth we have achieved in such a short time period is an incredible story in and of itself. It was only possible because we created a culture committed to helping people realize their vision. Not only the career goals of our own people at DaBella, but also for those homeowners who we serve every day." In our industry, it's common for people to talk about the dream of one day owning their own business, often driven by the desire to make a lot of money. The start to our story, however, is different. It entails a motivated, young family who had worked in the home improvement industry but envisioned a different kind of home services company. The goal was not just to build a business, but to create an extended family, where employees, suppliers and most importantly, customers, were part of the family. Not coincidently, the company was founded at the same time as the family was blessed with twins. In fact, the name of the company comes from a combination of their names -- David and Isabella. But DaBella is so much more than a company's name. From the beginning it has been a second family name for employees. It's the nameplate of a company who works in the name of families.

"This appointment was very professional curious respectful and gave the best human caring ptesentation"

22 years of experience

I am a licensed Tile Contractor with 15 years experience serving Northern California, (i.e., Oroville, Chico, Paradise, Redding, Yuba City/Marysville, Sacramento, etc.). I am a perfectionist and believe in doing the job right the first time. I warranty all of my work and work with the customer from the initial phone call until I know that the customer is satisfied and happy with my work. I provide free estimates and my reasonable prices are based on the square footage. My hours are flexible and I'll work around your schedule when providing your estimates and completing the job. For handling the big jobs, I have employees who are professional and do excellent work. I also have my own tar kettle, so I can do the shower pans on my schedule, not another companies schedule, which can expedite completing the job. The job is not complete until you are happy and satisfied that I have created the vision you dreamed of and turned it into a reality. I have a group of contractors that I subcontract with and I have a list of references from private individuals if you are interested. I am licensed with State of California's Contractors State License Board, as well as being bonded, insured, and maintain workman's compensation for my employees. I would appreciate the oportunity to serve you.

Bathtub Restoration questions, answered by experts

Most homeowners need to wait at least two days, sometimes three, to use their bathtub following the reglazing process. That’s the normal length of time it takes for epoxy resin to cure. There are quick-dry epoxy kits available that cure in 12 hours, though. To ensure that the epoxy dries properly, try to ventilate the bathroom as well as you can.

Before you begin caulking a shower, you’ll need to use a utility knife or solvent to remove the old caulk and inspect the area for mold. If needed, take appropriate steps to get rid of the mold, then wipe everything down with dish soap and warm water before letting it dry completely. Finally, surround the caulking area with two strips of blue painter’s tape—one above the joint where you’re caulking and another below it.

You can use other ways to seal the space where your tub and the bathroom tile meet. Using sealant tape, epoxy sealer, and spray foam can be just as effective as caulking your bathtub. When using alternatives to caulk, the one that is best for you depends on your preferences.

Sealant tape takes less time and effort to use, which is why some homeowners prefer it. Meanwhile, epoxy sealer creates a smooth and glossy finish that can complement your bathroom. Lastly, spray foam is waterproof and can act as insulation for your tub.

You're more likely to accidentally crack your plastic tub rather than successfully fixing a hole. You can fix hairline cracks and larger stress cracks with a plastic tub crack repair kit from a home improvement store. You'll need to clean out the tub, apply either the epoxy resin or filler putty compound into the crack, let it dry, and then sand it out.

Depending on your budget, you might consider a new tub as part of your bathroom remodel costs. It could be a good opportunity to update everything after considering all of the bathroom remodel ideas out there.

When it comes to cleaning bathrooms, bleach usually comes to mind. But like ammonia, bleach can damage acrylic tubs. In fact, many tub manufacturers warn against using bleach on acrylic bathtubs, and doing so could void the warranty on your tub. Again, a gentler cleaner specifically made for acrylic tubs, or one of the homemade methods listed above, is your better bet here.
