More details: I contacted several roofers, and joined them on the roof of my house looking at various details that needed addressing. I have a mixed roof, with some shingled areas and other flat areas. It presents a number of concerns, not just limited to the complexities of how to keep things watertight, but also including details such as where water is legally allowed to drain. Mike was the star of the lot that I spoke to. While all the experts I contacted had some insight as to why my roof had issues, Mike was far more insightful and comprehensive about what needed to be done to effect a permanent solution.
