Best subcontractors near Malibu, CA

"I was skeptical of remodeling our kitchen because you hear so many horror stories about contractors taking too long, charging more than they say, flaking out, etc. My husband and I were in disbelief at how OPPOSITE Pristine is from that. Pristine Construction is exceptional. I don't think I have ever encountered a better company.... and I have very high standards! Nathan and Mike are not only true to their word, totally professional, and incredibly knowledgable, but they are 2 great guys who are fun to hang out with! They make you feel like you are their only client. Pristine Construction really does care about you as a person and they take a great deal of pride in providing the best service and best quality work. Also, the designer they had design our new kitchen was incredible. The layout of our finished kitchen is gorgeous. We are extremely happy with everything Pristine and their sub-contractors did. Our kitchen remodel was worth every penny. Their price was reasonable and similar to other construction companies around. Nathan and Mike and their crew helped us better our lives and we are eternally grateful. You will not find anyone better in Los Angeles!"

"Al and his assistant installed two window air conditioning units in windows that another installer said could not be done. The other installer from TaskR installed one of the units in a non-preferred window and left quite a mess, including crooked drill holes in my wooded sills. (My place is 105 years old, but my window sills have metal frames and modern windows.) Al and his assistant’s work was perfection! I was so pleased, I have already referred Al to 2 neighbors. Al is great at communication, very pleasant to work with, and honest. They cleaned up everything and offered to take the boxes and packing materials out to my bins. This was a relatively small job, but worth the money. Al charges a 2-hour minimum, which is more than fair. I will hire Al again and continuing recommending him and his team."

"The service was phenomenal. They pay attentione to details, and they were on time. They were always available, and they were really good contractor."

"I hired So Cal Builders & Design Inc"

"A&A Construction are total professionals. From meeting with Al and Devon to discuss the scope of the project to completion of the project, I felt confident in their work. They quickly responded to any of my questions. I would use them again in future projects in a heart beat."

"Jeremiah and his team remodeled my kitchen. I ended up with exactly what I wanted! His team made the remodel virtually painless. I went over budget because of the expensive materials I selected but I felt like I knew at all times what I was spending. I love my kitchen!"

"We found McCormick home builders through Angie’s list. They were not one of our original contacts, but they contacted us and came out to give us a quote. Matteo was extremely helpful, informative, honest, and gave us reasonable realistic prices, and did not try to inflate the prices or pressure us in anyway. We felt very comfortable with him immediately. We felt like he was a member of the family that we could just talk to and ask questions he was very personable. He gave us his contact number in case we had other questions and he was always available when we needed him for any type of questions or concerns. Mateo‘s team did a beautiful job. They were fast. They were efficient. They cleaned up beautifully. They did a wonderful job. They were very considerate of our time our needs and our neighbors. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Matteo from McCormick home builders for any home building projects, and we will be calling him again in the future!"

"We hired Ben and his team to do a full remodel of a 1940 bungalow in Burbank. Immediately upon meeting Ben I knew I wanted to work with him - he clearly has the intelligence, experience, and taste I was looking for, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Surprises arise during construction, but Ben was always direct and communicative. When a problem arose, he explained the situation, offered multiple solutions and the costs/tradeoffs of each, and we agreed together on the best course of action. The craftsmanship is wonderful, and even after the house was finished, he remained available for questions. Our house isn't a multimillion dollar compound, but Ben and his team treated it like one within our budget. Our remodel had a lot of ups and downs, but through it all he was a great guy and I'm happy to call him a friend even years after the work is done. Highly recommend!"

"The project was completed satisfactorily"

"In ten years of buying and selling properties, hiring contractors to improve the homes can be a challenge. If you need a contractor, please save yourself time and grief, Ouri’s « Universal Home Design » is the dream company to work with. I am not kidding. Ouri and his team are the most pleasant, competent, responsive, on time, budget conscious people I have ever worked with. The work is flawless and the result is there to prove it. The addition to my house is gorgeous and makes my home stand out in the whole neighborhood. My family is still in awe with the quality and the integrity of Universal Home Design’s work. Honestly, I couldn’t say enough good things regarding my experience of working with Ouri and his team!"
