We were very impressed with Dream Home Remodeling! Effram and Daniel were a pleasure to work with. No pressure, just great design and planning advice and excellent quality work. Their attention to detail in particular was highly refreshing- they take pride in their work, and it shows. We had Effram come out to do an estimate, where he actually listened to what we were interested in doing and talked through relevant options, rather than just talking up what he thought was best. Within a couple days he had drawn up several options at different price points, all in line with what we'd discussed. He was extremely patient, and quick and responsive with good information and practical advice when we needed help & advice for decisions like how big of a tub would work in the space, design ideas, where to get the best deal locally on tiles, etc. The work itself was completed on time, on budget, and with results that exceeded our expectations despite the pandemic. Effram and the lead contractor, Daniel, were both brilliant, patient, and friendly. Daniel would check in with us frequently about how the work was going and if we had any questions, and would stop by every few days to oversee progress, touch up the work here and there- heck, HE EVEN RANDOMLY FIXED OUR BROKEN MAILBOX JUST BECAUSE IT NEEDED DOING, FREE OF CHARGE! I mean, wow. Any minor problems that came up, Daniel took care of promptly (and usually personally)! We were so happy with the result- Dream Home transformed an old, awkward bathroom into a beautiful, modern space at a fair price and with outstanding customer service. We felt very well taken care of, and they'll be the first company we'll call for future work.

Daniel was extremely professional, honest and delivered excellent service. He is very responsive and follows through on everything he says he or his team will do. Daniel made us feel like we were his only client and was happy to provide different options when we were reviewing home remodel scenarios. Our home looks and feels wonderful thanks to the bathroom remodel and other work Dream Home Remodeling completed for us. We would hire them again in a heartbeat and would look forward to working with them.

I have personally worked with Effram and Daniel on my personal home, client homes and do not hesitate to refer them out. I am almost hesitant to write a review to make sure they are available when I need them - joking of course. With any construction project there are speed bumps and some workers have personalities, but with Effram and Daniel they get things smoothed out professionally and quickly. They are trustworthy, present on site regularly, stick to the budget, keep to the timeframe and deliver top quality finishes. I highly recommend...

My first remodel experience with Effram and Daniel was to give me my dream kitchen. When Effram first suggested design changes to my initial inception I was skeptical. The new layout ended up having a much better flow and my kitchen seems much larger than it is because it is so functional. As someone who loves to cook it is a joy to work in my new kitchen. Next, we tackled my 1956 pink bathroom and ended up with the sleek, modern bathroom that I have wanted since I purchased the house. We have been working together for four years on projects big and small. I would highly recommend Dream Home Remodeling if you want a team you can trust to give you the home of your dreams.

Daniel and Efrem at Dream Home Remodeling are the best contractors I’ve worked with. They did a master suit addition for my family and we could not be happier with the result. Not only did they stick to budget, but they also stuck to their schedule. I would recommend them to anyone looking to do a remodel or addition.

We worked with Daniel (work was done in 2017) who was professional from the outset. He kept the work according to schedule and told us up front what sorts of things we could expect while doing this renovation, such as waiting for permits from our city, etc. The tradesmen who worked with him also did a good job. I'm especially proud of the tiling in the bathroom. The bathroom looks amazing, still. It's one-of-a-kind and I'm glad that Daniel worked with our ideas because it is truly unique. I used a color that is now very trendy and it is still the showpiece room in this little old house. Another thing which helped a lot was that when purchasing items our contractor would work with us and the supplier for lower pricing. That helped a lot!

I enlisted Dream Home Remodeling for my kitchen remodel and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The job included installation of new cabinets, countertops, backsplash and appliances. It was a pleasure working with Dan Perry who stood out from the other contractors by having the best quote and by far the best attitude. He was very flexible, upfront and down to earth, always worked with me to find solutions, was not pushy, did not try to rush me, was genuinely making sure I was happy at every step, and came by everyday to check on progress. He generated drawings before start of work and was very willing to change them a few times to help me arrive at the best configuration. By comparison, the other contractors were charging additional fees to have someone else generate drawings. Dan actually does the drawings himself and comes with the laptop and can make changes on the spot. All of the workers he brought to the site were very good, professional, polite, trustworthy, and did a clean job. I'm very happy with my new kitchen and I greatly appreciate having worked with Dan and his crew. I highly recommend him!

Effram and Daniel at Dream Home are a wonderful father-son team. After meeting with several local GCs for ideas and estimates for the renovation and addition work on our fixer in Woodland Hills, we felt the most comfortable with Effram... and we made the right choice! Not only did Effram provide a fantastic idea about how best to remodel our home while maximizing square footage and minimizing cost, but he (and Daniel and his whole team) were also very responsive and willing to take our notes and ideas throughout the whole process. It was really collaborative and fun (aside from a few hiccups caused by permitting that had us using our outdoor shower Dream Home installed by our pool as the only shower in the house for a month). Our house is now, without a doubt, the nicest house on the block, both inside and out. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dream Home or use them again when we upgrade to our next Dream Home!

Outstanding results. Contractor is a class act. Stayed on the job till its completion. They have a top notch group of subcontractors. We were very pleased with the results and the value. We hired them again to remodel master bedroom suite and got same results.

Effram and Daniel are VERY responsive. They show up when they say they are going to show up and keep in communication if there is a reason why an aspect of the project has slowed. They got the permits from the City quickly and started work right away. They check on the work of their crew and make repairs/alterations as needed. I really appreciated their professionalism. Their prices are high. It was a bit of a pill for us to swallow, but since I have worked with several contractors in the past with results I have been unhappy with, I was willing to pay the premium for professionalism and better quality. If a part of the project isn't what you envisioned or you are unhappy with something, they are very fair, reasonable, and creative in how to make it right. Overall, I am very happy with their quick work, their good workmanship, their clear communication, their professionalism, their attentiveness, and I plan on hiring them again for future projects.

Job took a week or two longer than expected but overall went very well and we are pleased with their work. Remodeled our bathroom completely. They were great at helping me match up colors of tiling and counter tops etc. which i have no experience with. They are both extremely responsive unlike most contractors i have worked with in the past. We will hire them again for our next project. No complaints and i highly recommend.

Don't look any further for a contractor in the Los Angeles area. They were Great! No, much better than great. We've had a lot of work done on our house over the years and have had a lot of experience with contractors. Dream Home Builders was the Cadillac of contractor experiences. First, they were creative, offering suggestions that enhanced the appearance of our kitchen. Things we wouldn't have imagined. Second, they promised to do it in six weeks and finished one day early. The quality of their work was first cabin and if some small thing needed correcting they were immediately responsive. There aren't enough positive words and we can't praise Effram, Daniel and their crew sufficiently. Hire them! You won't be sorry.

Better than expected - perfect collaboration, high quality tradesmen, and professional throughout process.

Dream Home Remodeling gutted and reconfigured my kitchen 13 years ago and it's is still beautiful. I rehired them a few years later for a master bath remodel (new cabinets, new flooring, new shower), again beautiful work. This project turned into laying all new wood floors and new linen cabinetry upstairs. They then replaced the baliisters (changed from wood to wrought iron) on my staircase and were able to salvage and restain the banister railing for cost savings. Last year I hired them again for a front and backyard upgrade, including an outdoor kitchen with a solid roof, and front courtyard with a raised wall and fountain. Many neighbors strolling by are amazed and love the new look. Their pricing is higher end, but I was always able to reach them by phone with return phones in less than 24 hrs and Dream Homes work is high end quality. All projects were completed on time. Any project tweaks after completion were always taken care of within a reasonable timeframe. I always refer Effram and Daniel to anyone who needs a contractor.

Both Effram and Daniel are easy to work with and they have lots of ideas. In the beginning I balked at some of their ideas but they were always right. They have been back several times to do small jobs and if I have a problem they come immediately! I highly recommend them!

They did wonderful work and we felt comfortable leaving the workmen in the house when we were not home. Now, 3 years later, if I have a problem with anything they come back immediately to fix the issue. I would highly recommend Dream Home Remodeling. Effram and Daniel are warm and friendly and easy to work with!

Renovation. The word invokes many emotions: Excitement, fear, anticipation…and they are all valid. Choosing a contractor is the first and most important step, and if you choose the right one it's all worth it. We just completed a fairly significant project with Dream Home Remodeling and couldn’t be happier. Effram partnered with us taking our ‘vision’ and enhancing it based on his years of experience. We could tell the first time we met him that he was knowledgable and honest. As we spoke with him that first day, and all the way through our remodel, it was obvious that he truly takes pride not only in the end result of the job, but also in the work and craftsmanship of each step as the project progresses. His estimate and timeline were right on, there were no surprises during our project. He and his son Daniel were patient, kind, so helpful, and always available to answer our many questions. Our project is done and we love it! I am sure we will use them again for other projects in the future and recommend them to anyone who asks.

After making the Deal it took an agonizing 6 months to get the plans approved but Effram communicated every single detail to me explaining every delay, not once did I get a half truth, nor was I given false hope, just honest straightforward updates, once plans were complete and approved work happened like now. They used the delay in plan approval to put all their ducks in a row so work would get started and completed expeditiously, and they did just that, I love these people for being exactly what they portrayed themselves to be, competent, hardworking with professional contractors and Subs that work with one intent, make customer satisfied and I can say I was. I would never hesitate to employ their services again, nor would I have any worry's recommending them to someone.

DHR completely renovated my home. Kitchen, bathroom, family room, living room. The house came out much better than I would have guessed. They are patient, knowledgeable and excellent at their craft. Thanks to Effram, Daniel and team

I have been dreaming of having Solar Panels on my roof. My wife and I tend to participate in becoming more Environmentally friendly. 
I have researched Solar Power Systems and interviewed 9 Solar companies.
Quite a few of them were very pushy. Offering Lease plans, (two thumbs down) bad quality, poor warranty, and/or Price was way too expensive.
Some of the most known companies look professional with their Logo on their T-Shirt and fancy presentations yet sent out
uneducated Sales Reps who failed to believe in their own product and price and their only mission is to close a Sale; thus, we quickly turned down ALL but one company.

Rudy Hen at Dream Home Remodeling was as pleasant as they come.
He was extremely educated, informative, very professional, and most of all listened to us. 
My wife and I gave him a hard time given our now much experience with Solar Sales Reps. 
But we quickly realized that Rudy knows his product in depth. 

He was able to explain even the smallest details of the system.
Apparently, Rudy worked as a Solar installer in the past. 
Dream Home Remodeling offered us the highest of quality product (I put my two cents in research), amazing warranty, but most importantly, it was priced just right. He even exchanged my A/C unit saving me more money. 
Like an artist, Rudy's presentation was easy to understand and simple to follow. 
We even qualified for 0 Down Payment and no Payments for 1 Year. 

My wife from the kitchen nods her head with the biggest smile on her face confirming that we've found our Solar guy Rudy Hen. Our only regret is that we wasted so much time and energy to finally find a reputable company.

I would highly suggest Dream Home Remodeling. It's a One Stop Shop for Solar, A/C, Energy Efficient Roof, etc...
If Rudy Hen is available, I would suggest to request him as your Rep.

We are thrilled with our whole house remodeling project thanks to Dream Home Remodeling!
We purchased our previously owned home in Moorpark, CA.  in July 2015. I set up about 10 different companies to stop by for an in-home consultation. I checked online to make sure they all had their licenses and workers compensation updated. I settled on the father and son team (Effram & Daniel) at Dream Home Remodeling not just for their courteous and professional manner during our initial meeting but because they agreed to our modern vision for our traditional not-so-geat looking home. Plus, they could do what we were asking for within our budget. I was nervous about hiring a company for our one and only remodeling project because I have heard about so many horror stories about people getting ripped off or getting poor quality work done. That is not the case with Dream Home Remodeling! I am detail oriented and they were willing to work hard to make sure everything was done right....high quality work! They listened to my ideas of a more modern home and were able to stick to my design aesthetic by staying in close contact every step of the way (texts, emails, calls, in person meetings at the house, etc.). They started work in August 2015 and completed it in January 2016. 
To ensure that this is an honest review here are the cons...the project went over budget and pushed back our deadline by 3 months. We only went over budget because I added items and choose higher quality materials. Our timeline was pushed back because we were waiting for HOA approval on the exterior items such as entry door, windows, bi-fold doors along with waiting for ordering/delivery of certain materials. We also had to wait for certain inspector approvals. All in all my husband and I are truly able to enjoy our dream home thanks to the Dream Home Remodeling Team!

Everything went very smooth. Much better than when we had the kitchen remodeled back in 2003. It was all done under insurance so I don't know the exact cost. I do know Dream Homes didn't make a lot of money on this job though. The only problem I have is that there are small chips of paint on some of the cabinets. Everything else was done beautifully, professionally, and without delay. Definitely did a better job than the guys I used back in 2003 (which are on Angies List BTW).
