"My aged, cramped and dysfunctional kitchen has been transformed into a bright and beautiful workspace unimaginable just a few weeks ago! Josh and Katy have incredible foresight and were super to work with! Their follow through and attention to detail kept the project on track and their crews are nothing less than master craftsmen. The crews working for Josh, responsible for this transformation, were all fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate to call WJB Construction for my next project! Honest and dependable...can't ask for better!"

"The plumber showed us a trick for how to clear the food trap using the garbage disposal and water pressure, which I really appreciated! He also, with permission, came early so punctuality was great. Only downside is this business is pretty expensive, twice at least what I have paid out prior plumber."

Toilets questions, answered by experts

While any bathroom remodel has a positive return on investment, an en suite bathroom can significantly increase a home’s resale value. It makes a property more enticing to buyers with families, particularly those with young children. However, keep in mind that at least one of the bathrooms should have a tub.

The average cost to replace a toilet fill valve is around $100, and prices range from $50 up to $150, depending on your location, the experience of the plumber, and how accessible your toilet is. In most cases, a professional plumber can replace your fill valve in under an hour, although it might take longer if they also need to fix or replace other components at the same time.

Tools include pipe wrenches, plungers, and augers. Professionals use advanced equipment for complex issues.

According to the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC), the distance between your trap and the vent should be no more than 6 feet. For your vent to work properly, it needs to feed into the drain line within 6 feet of trapways that connect to it. Using this formula, you should be able to determine whether you will need multiple vent lines.

If you notice water coming out of the bottom of your tank or the flush handle, you obviously have a leaking tank. Water on the side of the tank can indicate cracks. Other signs include the toilet running and flushing without anyone touching the handle, needing to jiggle the handle to make the water stop after flushing, or needing to hold the handle down to empty the water tank.
