"Mr Aguilar did a great job installing my tankless water heater, tub and shower. Very knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy. I would definitely hire him again for my next project! Both prices and work quality are better than my previous plumber"

"I sent a makeup vanity to my niece from Wayfair and it arrived unassembled in about a thousand pieces. We live far away from her, so I went on Anji and got a response from TRU'S Furniture. They were able to get out there that day and were amazingly able to put it together very quickly. Unfortunately, some parts were broken or missing. Michael took the parts with him and repaired them and supplied missing hardware. He returned and completed the job beautifully. We are very happy with the fast and professional service."

Toilets questions, answered by experts

Costs depend on door material, labor, additional hardware, and whether structural modifications are needed.

Even though they’re modern-looking, easier to clean, can be hung at any height, and help save space compared to traditional toilets, wall-hung toilets have some downsides. They’re more expensive than standard toilets, sometimes by a few hundred dollars. They’re also difficult to install and may require major plumbing work to reroute the drain if the previous toilet was a floor-mount model.

This tight fit can make repairs more difficult. You’ll also have to consider where you can hang them and weight limit restrictions, so they may not be the best fit for every home.

Some of the most common bathroom leaks include showers, sinks, and toilets. Most homeowners discover these leaks because of the chronic dripping sound faucets and showers make as water drips to the ground, but a leaky toilet will often appear as a puddle. Inspect your bathroom faucets, showers, and toilets every month to detect leaks quickly.

While you might think that phantom flushes are simply eerie, they are bad for your toilet (and wallet). These flushes indicate a leak somewhere in the toilet system that needs repairing. These leaks can cause damage to your walls, flooring, and even your plumbing system. While one random flush every now and then might not seem like a big deal, leaving it unattended can lead to bigger problems.

To test for toilet leaks, use water coloring in the water tank and see if the water slips into the bowl from the tank. This test will indicate if there’s a problem with the flapper or refill tube. You can also put water coloring in the bowl of the toilet to see if there is a leak there. If there is, you should see the colored water on the outside of the toilet bowl or on the floor.
