Customers say: True professional

"MD Trees did an excellent job at a fair price. I definitely would use them again. They were quick and did a good job on cleanup and haul away. Note to Angies list: I had a hard time finding this page to leave a review. Other than that everything was great."

"Miguel Medina, his father, and his uncle are first rate at their craft. We purchased a 40 acre ranch that had not been maintained for an extended period of time. M&M came to the house, evaluated the property, prioritized projects, and executed their recommended maintenance improvements with energy, professionalism, integrity, and care. If I could give ten stars, that would not be enough. Thank you M&M!!"

"I highly recommend Streamline Garden And Irrigation! Mr. Wickham, Dock was extremely patient, polite, professional and Skilled. He came when he said he would and he completely fixed a problem with our irrigation system that I knew I could never handle. He is in my address book as my go-to for yard irrigation and maintenance! "The young guy who did the work was prompt and professional, but not well trained. He power washed my patio BEFORE blowing the leaves and sticks off my roof, so all the debris landed on my just cleaned patio, and he didn't follow up to clean it off.
He forgot to do the garage door and was all packed up when he asked me to inspect, so I just let it ride.

Arborists questions, answered by experts

It depends on the type of tree. Typically, late spring on the cusp of winter is ideal for trees about to emerge from dormancy and produce new buds. That said, late fall is ideal for certain deciduous trees prone to bleeding sap. Avoid trimming trees in early spring, when they’re prone to disease.

In most cases, leaving tree roots underground is not a problem if the stump has been removed or ground below the soil. However, some larger roots may decompose, leaving dents in your soil. Additionally, some aggressive trees, including willows, oaks, elms, maples, and poplars may grow back from roots. Large aggressive trees with established root systems are more likely to grow back.

The average tree pruning should take one hour with the right equipment. Light pruning of a small tree may only take around 15 to 20 minutes. Pruning multiple large trees in your yard will probably take several hours, including cleanup. However, tree pruning pros can do this job much faster, so you can rely on pros if you’re short on time.

Tree roots don’t necessarily break through concrete on their own, but they can certainly take advantage of existing cracks, even very small ones. As roots grow, they expand the cracks, making them larger and leading to serious and costly foundation damage. It’s a good idea to have repairs on any foundation cracks you’re concerned about.

After a big storm, you may not be sure if a tree was struck or not. Look for the telltale long scars, like strips or gouges in the bark of the tree, running in sometimes jagged lines down the length of the trunk. These scars will often show vulnerable living wood inside the tree. It’s also common to see scorched or wilted leaves on the side or top of the tree where lightning struck.
