Customers say: True professional

"Cristian and his team did an amazing job. They were fast, kept to their schedule and clean up when they were finished. As we walk around our neighborhood and see others with pavers and artificial grass, Cristian’s team has probably done one of the best work in the neighborhood. On top of that, Cristian honored his pricing and kept to his estimate. We would definitely hire again."

"Rebaza did a terrific job of removing a huge number of bushes that had grown much too high over the past 30 years. The oleander plants especially were a fire hazard. It took Rebaza about three eight-hour days to do the work of heavy pruning and cutting and then dragging everything out to their trailer. Excellent and professional work."

"Fausto has completed many jobs for me. There are so many things he has done other than just landscaping. Brick work, walls, cleanups, planting, landscape design, junk removal ect. He can do it all and cost is very competitive. I recommend him and Scenic Route to everyone because I know they will be more than happy with the work."

"The crew were all real friendly and pleasant to work with. They were quick and did a great job and good clean-up. The price was good and they added extra pruning my other palm trees in the price."

"I cannot recommend more highly. Albert (rep and project manager) was 100% accessible, knowledgeable, and helpful, Pedro (on site manager) was wonderful, entire on site crew was efficient, clean and quiet, office staff was also great. We had to change our install date due to weather and till got done within a few weeks. The price beat everyone else, especially since we booked in the off season. And best of all, the lawn looks amazing! We love the result! A+++"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

If you don’t stake a tree that needs support, it could be at greater risk of being damaged or failing completely, whether it uproots or falls over. That could cause damage to your property or other surrounding trees. If you want to grow healthy trees, you may need to stake them for best results.

Trees don’t usually grow back after being cut down. Some particularly robust tree species may start sending up new stems from a stump to recover, but those stems won’t become a “tree” like before. Generally, trees don’t recover from being entirely cut down, which is why it’s important to be careful when making a decision. When you cut down a tree, it’s a good idea to make plans to remove the stump, even if it’s unlikely to grow back.

You can use the formula mentioned earlier to calculate the depth of tree roots. Each inch of width of a tree trunk translates to six inches of depth within the root system. Large trees extend anywhere from 2 to 6 feet into the ground, with some magnificent specimens going even deeper.

You don’t always need a permit to grind a stump, but you might need one depending on your location and the stump’s surroundings. Permits are often needed if the stump is part of a protected tree species, near public areas or utility lines, or close to environmentally sensitive zones like wetlands. Some cities also regulate noise and work hours. Always check local rules before grinding, and contact your city or county office if you're unsure.

The exact answer to this question depends on which region of the country you’re talking about, but according to various tree counts, some of the most common types of trees in the United States include red maple, Douglas fir, quaking aspen, loblolly pine, and sweetgum.
